- Truck 50 responding (with Chief 50 leading) to assist Station 66 (Lancaster Township) on a reported building fire. First arriving units found a small fire and recalled the Truck after it was determined they were able to handle the ventilation. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 7/26/24
Truck 50 is a 2003 Pierce Dash.

A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.

A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 12 Black, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080
Again, public traffic responded well in your area, which is always impressive. Even a bicyclist pulled up and stayed in his bike lane.

this afternoon there was a strong fire at the factory in my city, a helicopter flew in to extinguish the fire (I am from Russia, Podolsk), the video is on my channel, thanks to all firefighters and rescuers for their work

Ihr habt SOOOO große Autos aber bei 5:13 bleibt ihr fast liegen?!!? Kauft Technik aus Europa. Die mag zwar nicht so bullig daherkommen, bringt aber die Leistung auf die Straße und hat zumindest die selbe Ausrüstung an Bord, wenn nicht teilweise sogar mehr... ^^

Vergleicht Eure irren Fahrzeuge mal mit effektiveren europäischen. Der Unterschied ist schnell deutlich.
Genau DAS ist aber Euer Problem, und darüber gibt es genügend sogar in Deutschland bekannter wissenschaftlicher Studien: Eure Feuerwehr verlangt immer breitere Straßen für immer auswucherndere Fahrzeuge - breitere Straßen verleiten zu immer schnellerem Fahren - schnelleres Fahren führt zu vermehrt schwereren Unfällen - zu denen dann (natürlich) immer mehr und immer schwerere und immer breitere Feuerwehrfahrzeuge ausrücken müssen.
Fällt dir da was auf?

(btw: hiesige Sattelzüge haben ein Normalgesamtgewicht von 40 Tonnen und im Schnitt Zugmaschinen mit 560 PS - und die lächeln selbst im vollbeladenem Zustand über diesen kleinen Hügel)
