For those watching, EB Techs are generally the recommended magazine by most owners, and they can be ordered directly from VT. Presumably that wasn't the case when Waldo got his in 2021.
As a VT owner and your client im a bit sad that you wont be keeping your VT. So im a gbbr user since the first WA was out back in 2007 if im not mistaken. I began with a WA m4A1 in 2008 went with a inokatsu in 2009( still use that one). After that ive tried WE, vfc, ghk. All 3 had huge reliability and QC problems especially WE and ghk. So by 2017 after using and abusing my ino 09 i wanted to try something else and firstly went with Ra-Tech using ghk system, their not bad at least a step foward in QC over ghk since Ra-Tech makes forged receivers. In 2019 another gun this time a vt 416D. And this gun was in another all new level, excelent QC, performance and rock solid materials. Build like a tank i tell my friends. So much that i end up buying 2 more VT SR-16 model. And i can say without any doubt they are the best AR15 gbbrs on the market. And all you need to.make them work is ghk gmags with DH mod ( co2) and DH cnc feed lips. Thats it. What many folks dont realise is vts BC are super heavy almost 100 gr more than ghk for example. You may get it to work with gas in the summer but in winter time you will need co2. You can have ebtech co2 mags but they are hard to find ( i own 7 of ebtech co2 mags). I have all mags compatible with VT guns. G&P, pro win, VT, ghk and ebtech. So i can say the best mag for VT guns is ghk gmags. Its lighter and combined with dh mod cnc feed lips its a must. IMHO vts is for hardcore milsim RS/gbbr enthusiasts. If you are one of those COD type players who likes to run full auto all the time running and sprinting allaround then go with TM its unrealistic zet system is for you, good ootb performance. i think most airsofters will prefer TM because most airsoft players just like airsofting and nothing else wich is fine. But remember VT is the most rock solid piece you will find in airsoft gbbrs thats simply a fact
Phenomenal. 2nd time viewing ❤ Amazing visuals and info is top notch. With you leaving that platform, I know the WE G36 will welcome you with open arms and a warm heart. Almost as warm as Beth 😍
Great video - have considered a VT for some time. Think I’ll stick to the MWS system for now. The realism of the other brands is nice, but having something that just ✨works✨ is kinda priceless.
Viper tech are also revered here in Taiwan, the guy who ran the breakfast joint I used to go to found out I'm into airsoft and told me he has 4 of them of various versions at home 🤣... one of my teammates loves running his CAR15 in his MACVSOG tiger stripe getup. But then BLS ammo is the standard here (honestly I can't think of much else available, and they make basically most of the other brand's stuff anyway) not sure what magazines he uses but they're the 20rnd pattern for nam realism. I might try and grab one at some point, but I'm not in a dead rush with everything else I have to get through already 🥴.
if you want a solid option get the vfc 416a5 gen 3, if you buy the tnt hop up system you'll get the best performance but you can always go for maple leaf. after 5000 shots it never ever let me down even after quite the beat up and it's a fraction of the prive of the VT (depends on where you buy but they go for about 400 450 in taiwan)
MWS is a great platform, certainly nothing against it. VT is generally for those who are willing to pay for a bit of extra realism and durability, but there's absolutely no need to buy a VT if you're happy with your MWS.
@@MBKill3rCat Yeah I agree, functionally the MWS works like a conventional AR, despite its Internal trigger box. The thing is a race car and just goes when you pull the trigger, as far as airsoft guns go, the MWS I think has the perfect balance of function and performance.

Great Review, owning a vipertech M16A2 i can confirm most issues mentioned, specially mags from VT are expensive and hard to handle/load but if you treat it for what it is (queen) it works. As a daily i prefer my ghks, which indeed need some extra money to keep up with the VT, but overall they are worth the money (maple parts included). Nice to have a VT in my collection. Do I need one? Sometimes.
The very fact that these need to be short stroked to give acceptable cyclic speeds is telling. Pretty much everything else on the market currently can run full steel bolt carriers full travel at fairly quick cyclic speeds.
These don't require short stroking for acceptable cyclic speed.... Atleast not mine, short stroking does however help with gas efficiency and give it a snapper cycle, if you owned a vt you would know that, now find me something that can do 130 shots on one fill with a full steel bolt carrier out the box.
@@voler_1925 I have never cared about shots per mag. Gas capacity varies from brand to brand anyway. In fact I always fill my mags with just enough gas to clear the mag once and not too much more than that. If you filled it to the point of it spitting out liquid gas it's not good news anyway. My VFC with full steel bolt carrier does a full auto mag dump full stroke at 900rpm/15rps with no slow down at the end of the mag on a 3-5 second gas fill. Thats pretty much perfect to me. If I get around to testing number of shots on fully gassed mag I'll report back.
@@thisisbadstuff ok, let me clarify, a vipertech with eb tech magazines will clear 140 shots on 10 grams of gas, your vfc can do that because a vfc mag can fill to around 30 or 40 grams of gas, which can be a good or a bad thing. Don't get me wrong, vfcs work wonderfully, especially at their price point, but vipertechs are a different beast, they work with a full weight steel BCG, on like 3 grams of gas to clear a mag, the kick harder than any other gbb out there, and the parts run for practically forever. Vipertechs don't tend to slow down either in auto on full stroke, the only guns that seem to have slowdown are 18mm bcg guns(mainly the 416) when you put all the bolt carrier weights in them.
I am 99% sure that the BB problem is the metal nozzle and metal feed lips (which you touched on), but more so the nozzle. This is why even if you "modify" the metal feed lips you still get BB trajectory issues. How some people still shills metal nozzles boggles my mind. It is common sense that a metal object travel at speed will effect a piece of plastic. I would wager that even though BLS "work fine" they still get dented and deformed which as you say is not acceptable. Plastic nozzles and feed lips are a must for any airsoft gun imho. This is the same problem with the Aztech Apache for AEGs. The metal nozzle powered by the main spring (versus a smaller tappet spring) chops and dents BBs. VT should really look into making plastic nozzles and feed lips or a partial plastic nozzle. I think they go all metal because the heavy bolt can deform or break plastic though, so who knows!
I was scared to watch this video, thinking I'll fall in love with it and that i would have to sell off my fully modded out MWS just to stop the intrusive thoughts from telling me I am nothing without the VT. Now, I have apologised to my mws and even gave her a clean up to show her that I'm sorry.

Inokatso or Viper Tech....the guns all admire, few own and no one really skirms. For anyone that actually want to own and skirm one there is a way. Unbelievable, but Golden Eagle have mastered the Nozzle and mags. Their mags are cheap and available. Okay, they do leak because they messed up the seal, but replace out the 2 O-rings for thic normal round ones and presto... they take black gas without a hiss. So, how does this make a VT or Inukatsu shoot as good as the TMs? Swap out the beautyfull bb schredding CNC nozzle for the 10 euro bright orange 2021 GE nozzle and start using GE mags. For Inokatsu swap the garbage hopup for a drilled out 5KU and ML crazy jet with hot shot bucking and be ready to be shocked. Never a misfeed, no scratched bb's and shoot straight as an arrow. The magic? The GE system uses an angled gas inlet design that not only aligns the nozzle and mag for great gasseal, but actually helps the silky soft nylon nozzle to gently push the bb's up the ramp and into the hopup. Holy moly, TM TWS performance with the heaviest recoil you will ever feel! Now there is a platform worth its price! Because seeing is believing ua-cam.com/users/shorts3jOnjWufqAI?feature=share EDIT: the GE nozzle puts out lower Joules and routes gas to the bolt quicker. I mean it's really not too much different with vipertechs, although you don't tend to have parts breaking, and lots of fixing, it still involves lots of modding and playing before they work truly wonderfully. Considering the price you pay for them, they still aren't fully ready to go out the box, which is a bummer for some, once they are working nice though, they work quite well.
@voler_1 took my ghk g5 out and it works perfectly after 1 day of adjustments, no jams, never ran out of gas before the bbs in game, Shoots pretty straight for a stock gbbr, I accidently ran over it with my car and it still works perfectly
@@marcusbevz6500 and that's how they should! Luckily I got my vt used, i didn't have to do much aside from a bit of dremeling on the bolt catch, and changing the orings in the nozzle, and it runs like champ. I can't squeeze out 150-200 shots on a full ghk mag with bolt lock back.
Oh man, the receiver gap. Those people who said real ARs have them are not joking. Receiver gaps are very common on real ARs specially if you are mix-matching receiver, no matter what price point.
To say no matter the price point is untrue. While it is very true than many mid range receivers may have gaps etc. Any high end AR receiver set such as a geissele, battle arms, radian is expected to have tighter tolerances that eliminate receiver gap and misalignment. This is part of why people buy nicer receivers.
@@Robbaz99999 huh? i literally said receiver gaps are very common when youre mixing upper and lowers from different manufacturer (which is also very common in AR community) no matter what pricepoint i never said a PSA off the shelf rifle will have better fitment than a KAC
@@AirsoftAlbert I just don't understand why you are justifying receiver gap on an off the shelf rifle by comparing it to a home built mixed receiver set
Anyone know if VFC V3 M4s are able to handle a really havy buffer, like H3 or even H4? I want a GBBR setup for max recoil while not having the reciever break. Is a forged reciever encessary for this or is VFC's version 3 full steel internals strong enough to witshtand that heavy buffer? The main reason i'm considering a VT was for its forged reciever but if that is not necessary to use an H4 buffer then not worth it to me.
Heavier buffer reduces recoil just like on firearms… also in order to use a really heavy buffer you need a better spring which all together might make your GBB fail to cycle
@@darrenhoang3 bro calm your little piss titties and be patient. It takes some time to crack out good stuff, it's been quite busy here with new business
Is airsoft just buying a gun of any price and still having to gut the entire thing to work? I’ve had WE, and I fucking hated it. Constant work and gutting and it doesn’t work. Vega Force did the same thing to my buddy. Looking into viper tech as the replacement and I was hoping to god 1500$ guns would actually work OOTB unlike apparently every other air-soft rifle. It just baffles and pisses me off
Amazing production! Just wow. Pushing Onlyfans though...really? Anyway, mags. As this is a WA system I have also struggled with mags for my WA based EMG M4A1. GHK G5 mags are okay, but you might have the same issue that gun needs to be cocked before putting the mag in and with a what sounds like the same feed lip design. I also bought a batch of Golden Eagle mags. These seem much better. I can use a standard speedloader, holds 50 rounds, just a tad heavier than the G5 mags and £50 each. Might be the same as the EB-tech ones...maybe. Worth a look?
Thanks man! We loved making it. And yes it only seems fair to promote Beth's business given that she promoted mine. No harm is done. I did use ghk mags but the fitment for magwell, feed lips, and router height to a vipertech was such an incredible pain that I just gave up with it. I didn't mention it in the review as it was already getting a bit wordy at the end
VT is over priced, AR tech makes 7075 upper and lower, which is what the mil spec real steel use not 6065. Which come more close to the real steel and for lower piece.
You mean RA tech? Minor nitpick, but VTs are made out of 6061, not 6065, and I'm pretty sure early real steel M16s were made out of 6061 aluminium. At the end of the day, a forged 6061 receiver is going to be able to take anything an airsofter can throw at it. 7075 is nice but unnecessary and you're not going to be able to tell the difference. On the flip side, even if you buy a fancy forged receiver for your GHK, it's still got shitty potmetal internals, and if you want to replace those you're probably already well past the cost of a VT. VTs aren't perfect, Waldo's critique is on-point, and VTs certainly are expensive, but I don't think you can honestly say they're over-priced.
@@MBKill3rCat you’ve right is RA tech and VT is made out of 6061, when Stoner designed the xm16 was use 7075 but the us gov want save some money by change to 6061, but they soon find out 6061 have sever corrosion problem in Vietnam, then they change back to 7075, after that all mil spec ARs were use 7075 not 6061, 7075 also have double the tensile strength than 6061, there is no reason for modern mil spec AR use 6061. But is the matter to Airsoft? Absolutely not, even use 6061 is over kill as Airsoft gbb, a pot metal MWS or VFC can run all daylong never have receiver broken. So if VT the hole point for using forged aircraft aluminum is to match the real steel than why 6061? For the price of VT it deserves a better material and quality. I rather spend half of VT money to get a non-forged gbb is not use the same material as real steel but still good for any Airsoft game, than spend a real steel money to buy a VT but still use the wrong material as the real steel also have to deal with more little issues. In 2022 for 600usd can buy a 7075 AR pistol, 1500usd can have a very nice build AR , VT is over price. Btw, GHK and VFC (high end models) now is all still internal, plus they make very good and cheaper magazines that don’t have deal with such problem as VT.
@@codycai2983 The point of the VT using 6061 isn't to be milspec, because it isn't. The advantage is that it's much more durable (though nothing is indestructible) than potmetal. 6061 isn't as strong as 7075, and I personally wish VT had used 7075, but there isn't really much of a practical difference between 7075 and 6061 in airsoft; 6061 is plenty good enough, and besides material composition isn't everything. Also, it's not just a forged receiver, but also full steel internals (edit: afaik with the sole exception of the aluminium nozzle). The corrosion thing's a bit of a myth, 7075 actually corrodes more easily than 6061 due to its higher copper content, though if both are properly anodised and looked after this shouldn't be an issue in any practical use case anyway. Also, you say potmetal is good enough for airsoft, and in most cases it is, but there are so many pictures of airsoft guns with potmetal receivers (especially GHKs) where the receiver has failed in some way, often with a great big crack along it. I'll take my overpriced forged 6061 T-6 any day thanks.
The difference is that vipertechs are forged and ra tech recievers are CNC milled, CNC milling doesnt change the aluminums lattice, giving it the wonderful "milspec" strength, VTs while made from 6061 are forged, that's the major difference.
The quality of this video is chefs kiss

Uhm what happened, and where's the website
i'm still around, back soon x
Oh man, the receiver gap. Those people who said real ARs have them are not joking. Receiver gaps are very common on real ARs specially if you are mix-matching receiver, no matter what price point.
To say no matter the price point is untrue. While it is very true than many mid range receivers may have gaps etc. Any high end AR receiver set such as a geissele, battle arms, radian is expected to have tighter tolerances that eliminate receiver gap and misalignment. This is part of why people buy nicer receivers.
@@Robbaz99999 not if you mix them
@@AirsoftAlbert how is fitment when mixing receivers comparable to an off the shelf gun? You're kinda comparing apples to oranges
@@Robbaz99999 huh? i literally said receiver gaps are very common when youre mixing upper and lowers from different manufacturer (which is also very common in AR community) no matter what pricepoint

I know VFC made a forged version of their m4 but i cannot find it in stock anywhere.
Heavier buffer reduces recoil just like on firearms… also in order to use a really heavy buffer you need a better spring which all together might make your GBB fail to cycle

Ill stick with my humble WE M16 and just keep Gucci-ing it up. Wondering if a VT upper will fit on a WE lower, as both real spec?...

It just baffles and pisses me off
Why would you take that beautiful(although a toy) rifle and much it you with tape.
Tape? Where?
Well hello Miss Beth! Maybe She should do some reviews.
Lmao what’s she doing in the tub with a mag don’t get me wrong, I like the ad! Aha
I never lost me at the mag details u lost me at the price 🤣🤣🤣 but that's not ur fault
I didn't mention it in the review as it was already getting a bit wordy at the end
who?
@@codycai2983 I have an ratech and vipertech. I would pick the vipertech over ratech any day. They don't know how to mill receivers properly
The difference is that vipertechs are forged and ra tech recievers are CNC milled, CNC milling doesnt change the aluminums lattice, giving it the wonderful "milspec" strength, VTs while made from 6061 are forged, that's the major difference.
