  • Last Friday, I decided to head over to Union to see the evening action. I stayed for just over four hours and got quite a bit of action. I got to see a rerouted 65E with a UP trailing that was awesome to see! This was my first time seeing a rerouted NS oil train on the mainline in about three years I believe. I also saw I158 with a MACe leader that was nice to see as well. I was told that I158 was apparently cut back to Philly as it no longer goes to Baltimore. I also a late K76 with a solo dash 9 leader and it apparently had intermodal cars in the back that was cool to see! 28X was also massive as it was 454 axles which is today now the biggest one I’ve ever seen. Anyway, this was a nice railfanning evening!
