My name is Jack. Welcome to my channel. I make videos mostly about trains and sometimes other random stuff! Here, you’ll mostly find NJT, Amtrak, CSX, Norfolk Southern, and sometimes other trains like the MBTA, Metro North or the Subway whenever I visit those areas.
A few trains at Newark Penn Station, NJ 8/8/24
Last Thursday after I watched the action at Secaucus, I then took the train back to Newark. Since I had a few minutes, I decided to watch a few more trains including 2 NJTs and 2 Amtraks.
1: Amtrak ACS-64 pulling a northeast regional to Richmond running about 24 minutes late
2: Amtrak Acela to Washington running about 32 minutes late
3: NJT ALP-45DP 4502 pushing a comet set terminating
4: NJT ALP-45DP pulling a comet set to Trenton

On Tuesday, I decided to head over to union for a bit. I didn’t stay too late, because it started raining hard later on. On Monday after my mom and I went to Annapolis, MD for 2 days, we then made our way back down south to Georgia where we stayed for 2 days. I unfortunately didn’t see any trains. Guessing the train after the third got cancelled. That would be the only reason it would make all local stops if the train ahead wasn’t cancelled.
I don’t think it was cancelled. The third one was 5737 that just came late. The one after was 5439 which I didn’t stay for.

@@thecooltrainguy5920 Yep. When we passed Linden, I saw a guy in a red shirt filming on the opposite platform. I told my mom that I saw somebody filming at the station. I was wondering if that was you. Nonetheless, it was extremely cool. It seemed like a good day as for catching them.

@@thecooltrainguy5920 No, The SD70IACs are basically just more tech ACEs I should say They're 1174-1234 IAC Stands for Individual Axel Control Try to search up on it, it'll say more info about it They have SD70ICC which are rebuilt from the SD70M-2, 1250-51 so there's only two of them out rn They'll get more if they do well for Norfolk Southern
