Thanks, haha. But it isn't actually based on the game Cultist Simulator, even though Pravus put a picture from it in the thumbnail. I just wanted to make a scenario about real cults.
There is one suggestion I have, about the "We happy few” reference I assumed, “Smiles are mandatory at all time, unhappiness will be punished with forced smiles." Like y'know, cut with a knife.

fun fact actually yoga was first introduced in Hinduism.I+ It was used to discipline the mind for helping it focus and attaining inner peace. It can be found in the Vedas.
i feel like it's common knowledge that yoga isn't just exercise lol it's pretty straight forward with it's chakras and everything.

She reluctantly a.k.a. just does hop between dimensions and he can’t control when he hops between the mentions nor can he control where he pops into same with mini Cthulhu. He has a passive ability where he makes people into cult members who try and bust him out of his containment cell to try and get mini Cthulhu to do the things the actual Cthulhu from Lovecraft would actually do, however they are completely different entities so all they’re doing is making mini Cthulhu uncomfortable, which is why he sought refuge in the SCP foundation. You’re the only organization on earth that wouldn’t kill him on sight, lock him up or be generally useless in containing him or more accurately, keeping him safe and when I mean lock him up, I mean lock him up to run experiments on him so yes, and also the two SEP‘s are actually friends I mean they both have similar abilities, passive abilities that they can’t control and are just a really big inconvenience.

That eating gross stuff you mentioned with the backwards family was indeed from RE7. I believe it's one of the few times you actually see everyone together in one area. It happens early in the game right after you get knocked out unconscious.

I guess the comparison of cults to plagues depends on how you think of major religions and religious wars. One could even make the argument that the Halocaust was motivated by religion. Major religions are actually a lot like plagues in that the bigger they are the harder they become to oppose. This is probably going to be a very popular comment... lol.

Really want you to play Cultist simulator pravus. It's a very good game, and very dificult to grasp as well, there is no tutorial and you are suposed to learn as you go.
This whole scenario is reminiscent of the cult in Far Cry 5.

There was like a town called 'Jonestown', which was established by a cult known as the People's Temple (leader Jim Jones). The entire cult was convinced to commit mass suicide by the leader and those that refused were killed (I believe, I may be mistaken about that last part) - it resulted in around 900 people dying from poisoning. I know it's not the same as an epidemic of illness, but it just reminded me of that.

Halloween isn't a Satanist thing. It's a Celtic Pagan thing. Samhain (pronounced Sah-win) was syncretized into All-Saints Day Eve (the 31st) and All-Saints Day (the 1st). Samhain itself is observed from the 31st of October to the 1st of November.
