The Kid that always smiled has finally lost his light and seen how cruel the world can be. If he wants to stop the bloodshed, he has to take matters into his own hands and grow into a pillar that needs no support from others to stand strong. A treacherous and lonely path lies ahead of him, with nothing but his regret and sorrow fuelling him. Deku, has grown up.
Not true because he's being supported by all might, endeavor, hawks, and best jeanist. Theyve all teamed up. He is trying to protect the academy by leaving it.

true but one thing wrong about this
thematically the only flaw that all might had as the symbol of peace is that he lacked support because he failed to create more symbols of peace, so every hero relied on allmight when the unexpected happens, and the citizens relied on heroes when simply being a genuinely good person (aka hero) was outside of their comfort zone
deku taking matters into his own hands is not because he thinks that its the best way to do things, hes simply doing it because he has no choice since the threat can pull up whenever he feels like and destroy everything.
ever since a kid, deku simply thought saving someone was the coolest thing you can do, seeing how all might does it so effortlessly and with a smile. he was naive of course, but he needs that to push him in the right direction as the main character, because when he met allmight, he was truly saved right at the moment he was about to give up, and learned just how life changing it can be to be the one being saved, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. This is what creates our Deku, the boy who not only wants to save people, but save their hearts and put their minds at peace.
dekus ideology of wanting to be able to save everyone who needs saving is the ground for the moral for the story, so he influences others to want to do the same (shoto, iida, koda, gentle criminal, bakugo, uraraka, etc) and whether he knows it or not, by influencing them he's making them into their own symbol of peace. All-Might more than any pro hero inspired people to become heroes, but dekus finishing off what all might started by making them not only heroes, but heroic in every quality
@dang579 that will only be temporary and I'm sure of it. There is only darkness ahead of him, and that will only dissappear once light is shown later on once things get better
The scene where Deku leaves UA was so good, especially with this music… I hope we hear it at least one more time this season

@@aminfaka8986 ok I might have a wrong idea of confessions but saying that he never hated him isn't right, he did actually hate him before s3(jealousy) and told deku him to kill himself.
So I don't know where is the fact that he never hated him is coming from?

Heart of a hero with the eyes of a vigilante
Hori did great designing Midoriya's Epsilon suit. We see the scars on the suit take shape throughout the entire Shigaraki Fight little by little which is cool to see as a little bonus detail.
A hero rises, protecting that which he holds most dear by pushing it away.
Kinda reminds me of Eren Yeager

A very interesting and melancholic theme, befitting of the vigilante arc.
EDIT: After many listens, I finally found why this theme sounds so familiar. It's the same letimotif as Kimi no Chikara, or very similar at least. I had thought that theme was already fairly melancholic, but this takes the melancholy and makes it pure sadness and regret.

The amount of stress and pressure that he’s having to deal with while standing tall is something not many would be able to have the thought of having to deal with what’s the point of smiling or being happy in general when’s there’s nothing to smile nor be happy about especially the position he’s in as much as I love vigilante/dark deku I really do feel bad for him and wish the best for him(this gives me Naruto, itachi, nami, and aang vibes)
True, he does reminds some of characters you just mentioned, especially when it comes to self sacrifice. Just thinking about how Izuku is so ready to give up his own life in exchange for entire world makes me tear up.

At first he was just a quirkless boy who wants to be a great hero like all might but he was mocked and has been told he couldn’t because he didn’t have a quirk and now we see a man who feels that only he and he alone must put a stop to this while shouldering the burden alone for not only for the public but also for those he cares about the most the name of deku went from being an insult to acknowledged hero no matter the path that lies ahead of him I just know he’ll do what he can to stop and end the reign of terror of afo and shigaraki and just like what Gran Torino said there are times where killing can be justified no matter what anyone else says deku chose this on his own accord the same choice he fully knows he can’t undo.

He is mentally and physically stressed, in his eyes everyone is the same, villain or hero, having a quirk or not, even seemingly useless quirk, if handle properly can also becomes very power.
He strives to bring back happiness, to go so far to abandon his hero studies in UA, to pursue the vigilante footsteps. His goal of searching info for AFO was so rock solid that pro heroes scared of his actions and couldn't stop him, even the spirit of previous OFA users couldn't stop him.
He was traumatized on everyone got hurt due to him: Nighteye's death, Lemillion's quirk erased, Bakugo got stabbed, midnight's death, Gran Torino injured heavily, Crust's death, X-less's death, Majestic's death, Native's death, Eraserhead heavily injured
He is the character that earned OFA's power and respects from previous OFA users, but at the same time revealed the darkness in a post-All Might era
