Arkenn34 The way I interpreted it, the Nomu is obsessed with power, as well as the desire to have multiple quirks to become stronger. It’s symbolic of how Endeavor use to be. Obsessed with strength so much that he became abusive and even made Shoto to have multiple quirks so he could become as strong as possible.
He saw the Nomu as a representation of his past self and the bad person he use to be or even the moster he could’ve became if he continued on that path. He burns him, effectively freeing himself of his past symbolizing “his start” as a new type of hero on his path to redemption

People are talking about how this is now Endeavor's theme rather than Shoto's theme but tbh I've always just looked at this as the theme of the Todoroki family as a whole which is more clear now than ever.
I'm eager to see this theme play for Dabi (not a spoiler. I just really think he's probably a Todoroki).

The way I see it this is Shoto's theme as he is the main of the todoroki family in the story, no offense endy
But we needed endeavour to play a very important role in the show, so that when the torch of his legacy is passed down to his son, it would be that much glorious!!!!

This was very well done, beautiful choice in arrangement. And I really love the use of the vocalist in the beginning, as Todoroki's Mother has a huge hand in who he has become in the future, it feels sort of like the ghost of her support when they became estranged keeping him going.

Definitely Midoriyas defining hero moment. He saved his friend from himself. But as todoroki once said what you say doesn't matter nearly as much as what you do. Telling people you believe in them will never make more of an impact than what you do for that person. This is Todoroki family song.
There are tons about Todoroki because this is his theme but hardly anyone says anything about this beautiful and emotional song.
The only thing I hate about the fandom when it comes to Todoroki is his scar. We get he has scar looks like Zuko's from Avatar series. It's funny but when you think about what he's had to go through. I can't help but feel sad and proud that he's getting better as a character. Also Midoriya being able impact others to make them respect is I think one of the things that will make him a great hero. I just really love this anime and the soundtrack. It's so beautiful!!😭

According to information from the manga, after Shoto's mother poured boiling water on his face, she regretted it and apologized.
What made the scar turn so red like that was because she used her ice quirk to ease the pain, but it only made it worse.
As we know, ice should never be placed on burned areas of the body.

Im gonna get some hate for this but... I could see Shoto surpassing Kaachan and Deku someday. I know Deku will be #1 eventually, but Shoto is such an incredible character and all he needs for his character is forgiveness and a shinning smile. He has potential to be the perfect hero.

This is beyond anime, it is one of the most beautiful compositions of desperation and pain ever created. It had no business being in My Hero, but fit so well with it's themes. My Hero is a top 5 Shonen not only for it's themes but for its completeness. Most popular anime fail to string together compelling music, One Piece is a perfect example, everything feels like a joke. DBZ is a better example but nothing tops My Hero Academia in its ability to piece together all elements that make a compelling anime.
Shoto is the only character in the series who has a backstory worse than most villians and still fights for the title of hero no. 1
