Very informative and useful. I think a lot of this sensible sort of advice for cats on ageing issues could be similarly communicated to us human companions by our human doctors as we ourselves age!

I noticed that my elderly cat was showing increased hesitancy when jumping on to my bed so I located a suitably sized sturdy cardboard box and filled it with old papers/magazines so providing a suitable step for her to use. She took to it immediately.

I love this! Thanks for informing people.
My beloved cat lived for 19 years. I didn't realize that climbing into the litter box would be a problem, but once I got the hint, I set up a ramp for her. That also made me realize that my girl was definitely a senior citizen.

My guy ain't looking his age at and is still very agile, hunts lazers like a cartoon character lol. But got so much hype in him,was looking after tips to make him more comfortable and he has no medicinal probs. He's nearly twenty yrs old and just started to show grey hairs. He's a flat cat and has no competition for food or shelter. How long can they live for maximum?
