I love the South Indian film industry; they have redefined cinema to some extent. However, without being biased or personal, no one can deny that the South region has the most toxic fan base in the entire country. We grew up watching Salman and SRK fan fights, but the level of toxicity in the South fanbase, particularly in Tamil and Telugu cinema, is appalling. Thank you for bringing this to light.

I am a Telugu person, I mostly agree about what you are saying. Audience are rejecting commercial movie. But in Kalki although Prabhas comedy didn't work out but we did love cameos and some refferences when it is said in Telugu.

Anyone sane who has watched the whole podcast knows he didn't call Prabhas a Joker but his characterization in Kalki as a Joker and wanted it to be a no nonsense character like that of Mel Gibson from Mad Max. But internet has the power to twist it for headlining and clickbait thus ballooning this incident to such levels. Yes Arshad could have said the same in a more dignified way but it was nowhere from a place of hate. Now the rabid fanbases of Prabhas and TFI has already given it 100x back from death threats to rape threats to his wife and daughter 🤡 Personally while I don't support Arshad's wording in public platforms ,but watching Kalki again on OTT can definitely say Prabhas in first has was unbearable and nothing short of a clown.

I feel like having expectations in your head about how the characters should be before watching the movie, is making you not appreciate the actual movie content but criticize it for not following your expectations. Arshad Warsi expected an Indian Mad Max, but the film never projected that it was such. You guys expected Prabhas's character to be more serious just because in the end it, Karna's spirit or whatever awakens in him. But I saw it as the first part of an age-old hero character arc of a morally neutral, transactional character transforming into an ethical person who stands up for the right side (e.g. Han Solo) . The world building in the first half was really good in my opinion excpet for the Disha patani track and that song.
Even for Brahmastra again, you are going with the expectation that Alia Bhatt's character should be larger. Her being just a support to Ranbir, didn't bother me at all when I was watching the movie . Agree or not, I think everyone has written their version of the film in their head before they even have watched it, and that version always pops into the criticism you have.

Bollywood only ever made one action film the right way, it was Dhoom 2. It had audacious creativity, was fast paced, excellent BGM and ofcourse Hrithik at its absolute best.
Lol. Moronic premise, illogical sequences which make no sense, especially the robberies, overacting galore on display with almost all the leads and average dialogues make it one of the okayish movies from Bollywood
