John The Baptist truly brings me to tears... SEEING him "shout in the wilderness" makes me better desire a sacrificial life for Christ! Never before realized how beautiful this is (though having read it MULTIPLE times) until actually seeing it now.

Please pray for me. I keep fasting and praying still no break through. I feel like a failure. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions (Lupus) and (heart disease) I’ve been struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table since. I’m so ashamed of my situation. I’ve been mocked and laughed at because of my circumstances. It hasn’t been easy especially as a single mother with two autistic sons both are non verbal. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I’m sick of struggling and feeling like a burden. I’m sick of crying out asking for help. My cries go on deaf ears. I want to give up on life. But my faith in God is too strong. I still have faith God will change my living situation. Even though I’m facing homelessness this month with two young children. I will continue to keep FAITH. FAITH OVER FEAR!

It may not be the will of our Lord to relieve you of these struggles, but instead comfort you in them (2 Cor 1:5).
2 Corinthians 11:7-9
"So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
Christ is our rock amidst the storm.

Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a messenger of Satan sent to buffer him not an ailment or malady. Jesus never wants us to suffer or go through hardships, he paid for all of that in the atonement. Only good things come from God. Praise Jesus!
