- This is a video on the Lian Li O11 Air Mini ( • Lian Li O11 Air Mini w... ) where I'm setting up this case with Lian Li's AL120 fans ( • Lian Li Uni Fan AL120 ... ) and Phanteks 240MPH Glacier One cooler.
I made a mistake calling them SL120s DOH. See the difference here:
• LIAN LI AL120 vs SL120...
In the original video on this case I built it with just the standard fans, but here I'm using 120mm fans and a 240mm radiator. I'm also going to show you how I connected the fans for RGB lighting in the case and on the radiator.

That aio pump idea might have just sold me on this case. I have never seen that idea before and I do see the benefit of doing it like as long as it doesn’t restrict airflow and thanks to the back of the case, it doesn’t!
Yeah it's great
Thanks so much for doing this video. This is the exact setup I am planning to build but the ARGB fans give me the fear….app tue cables etc. this is the best detailed breakdown on the internet
Thanks for watching 😎 glad you thought it was useful. Hope you enjoyed enough to subscribe 🦐
@@TheProvokedPrawn I’m already subbed! Love your videos
Looking at building my first gaming PC and your build here has helped massively. The idea for the radiator position is one I will definitely use.
Glad to help Bob. Hope you enjoyed enough to subscribe 🦐
I just bought me a pair of Corsair Virtuoso XT and damn your voice is soooo good to listen at
Thank you for this video, I am running into the same issue with my USB header blocking the radiator. This was super helpful figure out where to put the radiator
Glad to help!
your voice make me sleep like father doing bedtime story
Definitely needs to do a podcast or an audiobook.
This looks great. Curious to see what it would look like with the fans behind the white radiator. And then you could re purpose an RGB fan for the bottom of the case.
I hope you can review Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Evo. Your review videos are very details than other. I will wait for your review to make my purchase decision. Thanks
Sadly they didn't send one 😭 and I can't afford to keep buying cases
These front lian-li fan brackets are frustrating me a bit because of blocking ARGB stuff of unifans from their sides. I have the same Air Mini and couple of SL140 on the front.
When you say the case is best for 140mm fans you really just mean for the front and the bottom right? I think the (3) 120 fans for the top will be better than (2) 140’s no?
Im having a hard time finding those same 140mm stock fans. Im not an rgb guy so just want to add more of those same stock fans but not rgb.
Looking to do a similar setup with an e-atx motherboard. If using 240mm rad on the side, would I have to put fans in the back chamber? Alternatively, would a 20mm radiator with fans on front fit?
Great video. I'm looking into buying this case as well, but i want to do a 240AIO on the side, with a push/pull setup. How much space is actualy in the back there? Can you fit only a set of fans or radiator, or could you fit both? In the XL which i have at the moment i know you can fit both
You want rad and fans at the back and more fans on the front? I'm not sure there's room but I also haven't tried. I could have a look.
@@TheProvokedPrawn exactly. Rad and fans in the back and another set of fans in the front. I know it won't do a lot, but i still want to do it. This is the only thing stopping me from buying it. I've scouring the net for the past week and couldn't find any info. So please have if you can have a look. I would really appreciate it!
3:33 You can get an internal USB 3.0 extension to solve this problem. This connector is a nightmare to work with and even worse to look at. I really don't understand what those "engineers" were thinking.. You can bend this extension cable underneath the motherboard and it looks rather stealthy.
Did you say its possible to fit a 280 radiator on the side? can someone confirm if this is possible please?
I want to know as well
I found it useful information
Glad it was helpful!
Any suggestions on a good layout for 2 rads in this case? I have this case coming in and my aio is 280 and my gpu has a 240. I dont want to put one on the bottom and its a ATX mobo
Hello I plan to build a rig based on 12700 using matx mobo with arctic freezer 2 argb 240. I plan to have Color fan from Lian li or Corsair or even coolermaster fan. I had read about placing arctic freezer on the side would cause issue with front fans? I plan to have 2 fan from front intake, 2 bottom fan intake and exhaust from top 3 fan and arctic freezer exhaust. And a rear exhaust. Space seem too tigh I plan to use rtx3080.
Why are you sucking hot air inside the case from that radiator, it shouldn't be exhaust?
In my experience it makes little difference
The title is inaccurate and confusing, it's not called the Dynamic Air Mini, it's just Air Mini.
Jesus
@@TheProvokedPrawn lol ppl huh?, i enjoy your vids mate really well done
So the included fans that are coming with the O11 Air mini are not RGB ?
correct
Do you think you can fit/ mount 3 120mm fan at the bottom? With just 2 screws to mount one of the fan?
Someone else said yes but I don't think it would have much in the way of air holes to suck through the bottom of the case.
Ok another question is , is it possible to have 9 uni infinity sl120 fans on 1
Controller ,
2
Strimmer cables on its own controller
And also 2
Sl 140 uni fans on another controller
You'd need a USB splitter for your motherboard probably
awesome
Thanks DoubleA
Hello ... You recommended al140 fans in this video .... But are they out yet?
Sadly not. You can get SL140s and maybe something else will come in future?
@@TheProvokedPrawn I recently saw a post on reddit from lian li saying that they were planning to launch al140 in early 2022 .... I'd love to see a build or review of those fans in one of your videos when they come out.
@@mahdeemustafakamal5704 me too 🤣😎
@@mahdeemustafakamal5704 well that was a lie lol. No mention of any 140s in today's product showcase 😭
It's such a shame that the case is still not available.
I believe it's appearing in various places. I bought this one from Overclockers but has to wait ages for it to arrive due to the recall. 😭
@@TheProvokedPrawn still not available here in Holland sadly.
@@swizzler8053 sorry to hear it. I think the US is getting prioritised
is it better to have the side AIO intake or exhaust?
It makes minimal difference
What did you do with the stock non rgb fans? Id buy em.
They're probably in a cupboard somewhere but unless you're in the UK I don't think I'm going to be much help you

could a noctua nh d15 fit with a regular size ram?
@@minglee4207 i decided to go with a noctua nh u12a chromax, :)
Should just fit with low profile RAM, I'm using the NH-D14 which has slightly smaller fan frames but I'm not touching the glass. My biggest problem was tight PSU clearance if you want to use a couple SATA SSDs on the back column.
🤘
240 mph god damn
So i have a $3,000 build on order with cyberpowerpc with this case and the idea that I will now have to pay $200 for fans offends me to my very core… ill do it… but ill be offended while doing so.. if my wife finds out god help me.
🤣
What thermals are you getting?
While rendering video and running Cinebench at the same time and watching videos, surfing and working (yes all the same time) I'm getting about 73 degrees C on the 11900K and 68 degrees C on the RTX 3090.
What about maxing out your gpu? That’s what I’m scared about with mine since air flow from the bottom can be minimal.
@@minglee4207 I just built mine, with 2 140mm fans at the bottom I still hit 80c at max which is surprising but it’ll do.
@@minglee4207 gtx 1070 msi quick silver edition. I have afterburner aswell. It was at 100% usage tho so 80c should be fine. I’m just surprised it hit that. I think it’s bc it’s actually being oc.
@@minglee4207 So I'm testing it today and with 100% utilization for 20+ minutes its sitting at 65c hit a max at 69c at max oc speed. Not sure what the anomaly was last night that made it hit 80c but its running fantastic now.
Not a fan of Lian Li's cables on the case and the fans as they should be white with an all white case.
Newer Lian Li fans have white cables on white fans
Yes they are but the cases still have black I/O on all white cases.@@TheProvokedPrawn
