I like this performance of Risa Again by Ivan Parker. This performance is from the Hawaiian Homecoming concert in June of 1998. I co-wrote Rise Again with Ivan's adopted brother Mark Catenzaro on Easter of 1980. This song had deep meaning for Ivan since he knew the co-writers.

My grandmother played the piano in our church and the choir sang it while she played this song every Good Friday Service. When she passed away they sang it at her burial service. This song will always hold a special place in my heart

Mark Catenzero Sr and I wrote Rise Again. The song was written in Flemish on Easter of 1980. A lot of people in the United States believed in a pre-mellinial rapture. This song had some meaning for American Christians who thought like that.

Someone txt me a remember me of the journey I have been through and this song kept me. I can say Thank God, you kept me in the loop from not losing my mind. My boyfriend left me for someone else. But I kept the faith and cry and move back home. It was hard for me because I have loved this man since I was 25 .and now we are in our 50.
