- Hey gues! I would like to show you my Top 10 Rage Against The Machine Riffs. Tom Morello is a great guitarist and composer, so RATM has a bunch of good guitar riffs but I tried to reproduce only 10 and this is only my own top 10 riffs. Just remember that. RATM are a band who certainly have inspired other bands and have great respect from their musical peers
Be it bands like System of a Down, Muse, Gallows or artists like Bruce Springsteen.
Man,this band has great riffs.

B Mark Maybe to you, but they are really groovy unique riffs. I mean of course they all have the same style because that was Rage’s style.

I just recently got into RATM. Bombtrack riff really got me hooked in the first place. Their riffs are often simple but badass and go so well with Zack's rapping. And he's a lyrical genius. Now I have listened to their whole discography and have been playing their albums on repeat

Great vid - a bit less distortion would have given it more of that Tom Morello sound - but overall a fantastic video
The thing could make it more of Morello's tone is play at the neck pickup. Tom has never use a lot of bridge pickup sounds

Maria Alvarado Just because you don’t like their music doesn’t mean some people would like to see it...
You play so many different bands on this one guitar, what kind of strings do you use to be able to do a wide variety of tunings? I use Ernie ball power slinkies. Not sure if those would work for a lot but I'd prefer to play Metallica, A7X, etc but I'm afraid to break my strings going outside of standard tuning regardless of the heavier string gauges.
