I married a man who’s extremely wealthy and the only reason I even considered marrying him was how he responded to his sister being passive aggressive towards me. He didn’t “let things slide” or “just ignore it”, he called her out, got his parents involved and made his boundaries about how I would be treated very clear. To anyone who’s in a relationship with someone who has rude family members, if they are not protecting you, be prepared to deal with things like these if you don’t end the relationship right then and there.

Not gonna sugarcoat this one. The husband sounded really close to his family when this all started out and even towards the end wasn't willing to cut them off himself leaving it to OP to make the decision, most likely hoping she'd go back on it instead of doubling down. The husband doesn't have much of a backbone and if they have any sort of big fight later he's probably gonna build resentment and blame her for cutting his family out of his life. OPs got some rough years ahead of her if this all goes down that way.
Tbh I don't believe that he won't let his child meet the in laws. It looks like he'll let them meet it in secret like when op is at work or something.

No offense to anyone who’s in the situation, but I always hear of these things happening with in-laws. Why do they get married to the person? Like genuinely why? When you marry someone, you also marry into the family, if you know the family doesn’t like you then why get married and have the problems get worse when you’re married + pregnant. Also her husband is just a pushover, how much do you wanna bet he’s going to try to get her to reconcile once the baby is here? Married a pushover who doesn’t defend her, at this point it’s all on her.

Fr. Then they end up in situations like this but are so surprised when it turns out the husband took the family's side or told them they "should've handled it better" when they've been getting terrible disrespected fir years. The person speaking up will always be told they're going too far ir should've handled it better and the husband more often than not won't be on their wife/fiances side. Even in situations where the husband DOES help uts always too little too late ir the situation had already escalated far more than it should have.

I think MIL and SIL are actually jealous because the don’t have a nice relationship like OP so they are trying to interfere. I think it’s also partially a control thing to keep the husband single. They don’t like seeing him happy. They want to see him alone and miserable.

In my case… the teachers WERE the bully… since I was physically abused by them in sixth grade.
Edit: the one restraint I vividly remember them doing to me… three teachers held me down, two were holding down an arm and a leg, while one put pressure on my back and neck.

A joke and prank is only funny when the people who play it on you are really close to you. They recorded this before your wedding, which means they didn't even respect you enough to delete it forever. They didn't even run it by you and ask if its okay for them to say any borderline mean things. They could have done so many things to make sure that you were comfortable with this. But they didn't. Yes she had every right to be upset, but she revealed something her husband told her in confidence out of spite without and regard for the repercussions for him. A husband who has defended her, stood up for her, who has shown he is willing to listen and stay on her side.
