Thank you sven, sorry for being a fan boy 🤩🤩🤩 but you are a great player and "expainerer!"... it's a pity that at the moment(winter 23/24) there isn't so much work for professional and enthusiastic musicians(lack of venues and crowds with excess income of the public)... so all the best man..👍
Thanks again Sven, You've really become a great source of knowledge and a real friend with these vids, great communication skills and style! Thanks so much!
I have been a new subscriber for less than two days now and checked out less than ten videos of yours and have learned so many cool tips, (not mastered yet, but well on my way). So very glad I have found your channel. For years all I could do was watch and listen to Django and the greats who emulate his style, but so much would go over my head with either speed, technique and how chords and overlays of substitutions of scales worked. You method of teaching is so userfriendly and I'm so blown away that I'm getting such useful knowledge so quickly. Forever thankful!!! 😎👍🏽🎶🔥♥️🔥🎶
Thanks, Sven! I love the fresh sound with respect for the genre! This will make way in to my arrangements! It works well with 6/9-chords as well (to my ear). Like say im J'attendari there's double the amount of turn arounds than usual, and this will be a cool thing to incorporate with 6/9-chords!
Great source and advice on using this sound . I hear simliar with Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage's progression. Like the D7sus I F7 sus I Eb7 sus I Db7 sus or C6/9 - Eb6/9 - Db6/9 - B6/9 version Work in progress for me. Thanks Sven
Great thank you ! About the Napolitan chords, it comes from Napolitan 6 chord in classical music, consist in flatted the second degree of a minor scale before the dominant chord (pimped ii V i) there's also a German 6 chord ! ;)
I just discovered you, really liked the lesson, and subscribed. Btw, I have the same question about the guitar. Really great sounding. By the logo on the headstock, is that the same builder that Joscho Stefan uses? Which model is yours?
Wo wohnst du Sven? Machst du irgendwo Lehre? Ich hätte gern mal einfach zwei Stunden mit jemanden der so spielen kann. Ich bin Selbstlerner und nicht alles kann ich aus UA-cam verarbeiten...
Short, concise.. nice one..👍👍👍

Hi, of course I know why it's played, harmonically. I just don't know why it's called Napolita. 😅
@@SvenJungbeck the napolitan school overused it haha so it became Napolitan 6
