The ponies of Sunny Town killed an innocent filly for showing 'symptoms' of a deadly disease ravaging ancient Equestria.
Rather than the disease, I think it was literally just because she got her cutiemark. Not even the adult ponies have their marks. They killed an innocent pony for finding what makes her special and were cursed for it.

I expected a jumpscare, but I got an engaging story and sections like Applebloom finding a corpse in a furnace. This game is super unsettling and I'm surprised I never heard of it till now

Same, I thought it was just a carefree wholesome story game when I was younger and when the corpse thing happened and went back to the village to see everything abandoned I immediately closed my tab 😂😅

This game is a perfect example on how you don’t need a long and complicated game to get a good solid story across in my opinion.
MLP horror concepts were so interesting. I remember when things like the silent pinkie pie story, this and then a few others. Good times man.

I remember finding it on DeviantArt accidently, I think it was a nice little story. They should have made a sequel about it or an animation, maybe with an other character starring in it. It sounds like a wasted idea.

I heard someone made a mlp game, the monsters from the blanks story make a cameo in a horror ending. Super Filly Adventure is the game's name.

this is the kind of my little pony horror I can appreciate! not those awful shock factor gorefest creepypastas. I don't usually like my little pony horror because a lot of it is too disturbing and gross cr@p like cupcakes made me a cringy edgelord in middle school, but this had an unsettling atmosphere without being too violent. the story is also really sad and interesting. one of the best fangames for sure

I remember being scared TO THE BONES from watching a commentary on this 9 years ago when I was suppose to be asleep, in elementary. Man great times to have nightmares, though I remembered the graphics being way better tbh

i have vague memories of stumbling upon this game and playing it when i was like 7 or 8. i think i remember i got stuck in the middle, maybe i just didn't know what to do or was too scared to continue lol

I found this when I was very young, and I since english is not my first language i couldn't understand what to do to open the cabin, I'm happy that I didn't and left the game though, while right now this game is just curious, as a child i was afraid of many things and had trauma for very silly stuff.
Damn how nostalgic. Wonder where donitz go, and knowing that thanks to him we have a great fan story pretty awesome, i hope he can see my words saying: "Thanks for this man" Too bad he decided left the internet and stop the remake of this game.

When I was little I believed Ruby’s corpse was just a dinosaur skeleton that scared applebloom plus I didn’t knew English so I believed the only scary thing were the zombies without knowing the context

Ts funny how even though the mare cursed the town and caused them never-ending suffering, she's still the good guy and the townspeople are the villains.

After seeing the fnf mod, I found the game it was inspired by. It's a spooky little game. I like the cute-turned deadly switch.

I dont really understand the Story in this. Can someone please explain?
They all killed ruby because they thought she was cursed (since she had a cutie mark, and they didnt)
if you listen to the fanfic version of this it takes longer to get through but it goes in depth on the story making it much easier to understand
The "Blanks" (Sunny town) feared cutie marks, believing them to be a curse, one day, Roneo (pony guarding the barn) lost a present and Ruby (the ghost) helped find it, earning her the magnifying glass mark, making everyone in the village kill Ruby, except Mitta (Crying pony in the barn / the zombie near the entrance that let applebloom pass) which was Ruby's friend, because of Ruby's death, they all got cursed with being zombies, a lot of time later, Applebloom accompanies Twilight to give Zecora some things she needs, and Ruby's ghost, curious, stalks them, which eventually leads to Applebloom following her and well, what we see in the game
It also seems that Sunny town replays the same fateful day every time (party occurring, Roneo needing the gift that made Ruby get the mark, Mitta saying "again and again and again", etc)

Once I played this game as a kid not knowing it’s a horror game and i was scared shitless 😭 but now it’s not really that scary but kinda cool actually
