My best TJ Maxx find was a John Varvatos Artisian Pure 125 ml for red sticker $9.00 about a year ago.

I saw pure havanne for $50 at one a few years ago but didn't pick it up at the time. Tried going a week later, building was gutted for renovations.
Nice, that's a steal and a half.....mine was when they had Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne 50 ml on clearance for $12 after it was discontinued so I got all 3 of them there and still have 2 unopened for backup...lol

Went to marshalls today, found john varvatos dark rebel for $25. Pretty geeked, it's been hard to find.
Found mine at Ross for $20 a couple weeks bag,big steal
Super stoked to find a Polo Red Extreme 4.2 in an unopened white tester box for 17.00 at Ross last week

F Black is definitely a great fragrance! Reminds some of Lanuit Delhomme. To me it does it’s own thing, but it does it well.
Wowza! I picked up the F Black gift set with the 3.4 oz bottle, body wash and shaving lotion for $14.00 at Marshall’s.
I’m glad I learned about Commodity. My local TJ MaXx has Commodity all the time. I figured it was a cheap private label fragrance. I will be picking it up within a day or two. There is also a bunch of Dsquared or something along that name. I wish mine had Invictus, I can never find Invictus or one million prive. There is tons of Burberry, Guess, CK, D&G, Cartier. Sounds like all the Christmas gift sets and overstock is now on the clearance rack. Thanks for the heads up.

Always jealous when I see guys do fragrance hauls from these stores. We don't have these stores in Toronto and any stores we do have are all closed or bankrupt due to covid

I Blind Bought Midnight Madness by Nostalgia at Walmart and it’s not bad actually. So fragrances that I bought and don’t really like enough to wear....I use as a bathroom freshener and in a home fragrance mist diffuser.

One time I wore Commodity Vetiver when I wasn’t feeling well. Felt nauseous. Now that fragrance has that memory tied to it. I can’t smell that fragrance without getting nauseous
I just picked up a 3.4oz Paris Hilton Gold Rush Man at Burlington for $20 and it’s AMAAAAZING. Seriously. Reminds me of Xerjoff Uden/Mandarina Duck Black Extreme/Stronger With You Intensely/Le Male Le Parfum. Love that style
Tj Maxx had a couple Commodity Vetiver and Bergamot yellow tag for $14 but I passed. I’ll never reach for them and don’t have the shelf space I’m currently at 150 frags.
At my local stores all you see is commodity Vetiver and Bergamot only. Wish there was more variety, great house.

I think my Marshall’s has been stocking an occasional Commodity, but I did not know the story. I will have to check it out. Blind bought F Black. Is pretty nice for a cheapie. I wear it from time to time. Generally pleasing and a steal on clearance.

$ 10.00. The Marshall's near me has a very small selection of fragrances. I did see Missoni.I heard your review on it and I'm considering it. I did see a Dylan Blue gift set and I saw,Versace The Dreamer.
First time I bought Nautica voyage, was at a Ross. Roughly 10 years ago.
Did the same for the first time today actually lol. Needed a "throw on" frag. for work/gym/errands etc. Decided to grab this over Michael Jordan and Curve haha, but not a bad investment for $19.99. If you can get past the piercing opening (lemon/clorox like) within minutes it dries down to a pleasant clean/fresh.
Picked up Commodity Vetiver the other day for $18. Looking forward to trying it out.

F black reminds me of the green bottle curve I wore in high school. Love wearing it because it brings back all those memories. I see English laundry every now and then at my tj Maxx. Waiting on Cambridge knight to hit. And waiting on Dylan blue to show up at one also.
I still enjoy the original Curve. I don't wear it out but sometimes I wear it around the house or for quick trips somewhere.
I got commodity bergamot for $30 a while back! Excellent deal on a great fragrance.

Picked up Michel Germain Deauville and Deauville Blue for $10 each. Actually quite pleasantly surprised. Wearing Deauville now. It's fairly unique and lasts a decent amount of time.
I've been seeing those commodity scents all over the place glad you did a review I had no idea what those were either. I might grab a few.
I found Vetiver for $19.99 at a TJ Maxx and I still can't believe it. I actually get more of the blackberry note than most people do. It's really nice though 👍

I grabbed Commodity Bergamot for 29$ at TJ Maxx and I’ve been wowed by it! The fragrance is excellent, long lasting and garners plenty compliments.

I also got a 100ml Missoni Parfum Pour Homme gift set for $36.00 at TJ Maxx
And yesterday I got a 50ml Mugler Alien EDP gift set for $19.00 at Burlington, my wife loved it.

I spent $29 on each Vetiver and Bergamot a few weeks ago. I really like Bergamot. Vetiver's drydown is better than the opening for me.

Best I've found here in the Raleigh, NC area is Versace Dreamer and JV Dark Rebel. Copped both. Found Individual a while back and snatched it. But usually it's blah at the rack stores round here.

Commodity Vetiver Smells Similar To Guerlain Vetiver
No red or yellow local mark downs at TJMax or Marshals. They did have a 1.5 Eros with shower gel for 50 dollars 👎🏻 and plenty of Burberry more than discounters.Lucky if red knocks off 3 dollars now a days. TJ haul is hype for finding in the wild not so much ridiculous clearance.
I just picked up Commodity Vetiver and Commodity Bergamot tonight at TJ MAXX for $29.99 each.
I paid $14 got all 3 cheapest niche I ever bought I like the Vetiver the bergamot is ok
Only decent thing I found was Tobacco & Tonka Bean by Banana Republic. 2.5oz for $19.99. Not a bad fragrance at all.

I picked up vetiver & bergamot @ tjmaxx in December
The Aubusson Man Sport fragrance in the orange bottle smells like.... I kid you not... Terre D'Hermes... Its a little lighter/ waterier but otherwise spot on And you can get it for 9 bucks... The downside... The Orange one is the one that pops up the least

You and TLTG seem to find great fragrances at the discount rack stores .. mine don't have buttkiss (in the regular section much less clearance .. not sure mine even have a clearance rack) ..
Went to TJMAXX, Ross, three Burlingtons and two Marshall's last week ... shelves are disorganized and found nothing ... I typically look once every 1-2 weeks and haven't found anything except for Joop Homme Ice a month ago and Banana Republic Oud Mosaic before christmas. Used to find a lot ... not so much since Covid hit - not sure if they have shifted inventory to other regions of the country.
My best find ever at Marshall’s was Valintino Aqua absolutely mind blown I think I paid $30 it was yellow discount
I bought Commodity Bergamot at TJ Maxx a couple months ago and it was nice, but it’s pretty redundant if you have stuff like Mugler Cologne or Neroli Woods. Just a typical clean and soapy fragrance.

I went to tj max the wknd picked up some dunhill desire red some st kitts and guess seduction blue all for like $50

Hey there. Would sure like to see reviews of older frags that you haven’t done yet, ie...F Black. At least once in a while in between all of the “list” videos. I’m not a collector and don’t need one (or two, or more) of everything so knowing what some of the older, somewhat hyped fragrances are similar too would be nice along with price and performance. A cousin worked at Marshalls and she told me they don't really care much on what they put on clearance they just choose whatever unless it's been sitting for long. I'm guessing for fragrance they just choose whatever they don't know. I found an ermenegildo zegna uomo for like 5 bucks not long ago.

I blind bought F Black at Marshall’s because of all the hype and regretted it as soon as I smelt it for the first time. Gave it multiple tries over several days, but each time I found it smells exactly like baby wipes. I do not recommend blind buying F Black, do yourself a favor and smell it first!!
