3:54 the reason it feel easier is because you think touching the spike anywhere kills you so you jump too early but here you jump perfectly because the hitboxes are accurate
that's part of it, although as you get better at the game, you sort of start imagining the spike hitboxes and playing accordingly

if you ever need to know this for the future there is a feature in steam where you can "verify the integrity" of the game files that basically resets all of them to their default. You could make a copy of all the game files you're actually using and then use that feature, and then make a copy of all the default files and then replace your files back to how you had them but now you have a copy of the default files.

Cool textures, but you should’ve removed icon rotation. Player hitboxes are static, so if you’re icons rotate it’ll just look like you’re dying on thin air when jumping around stuff.
