About the game:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece. In addition, every object you see in the game world--save for small decorative plants and rocks--is part of the physics system. Each element of the world interacts with each other and together they create a physical, visceral world to play with.
Build Your Vehicle
Build a vehicle your way, with an ever-expanding array of parts and pieces. Using an intuitive vehicle construction system that also lets you customize your vehicles' appearance and controls, you'll always have fun creating your next awesome invention.
From simple splitters to advanced joints, a variety of parts slowly unlock as you play through the game, and each unlocks countless new possibilities.
While some vehicles will perform better than others in accomplishing your objectives, it's always a bit more fun to get creative and go a little off script. Optional bonus challenges and objectives will reward more creative builders and add more replayability.

I'll be asleep, I won't even know it happened.
I think the Flex Connections work by fixing together all of the connectors with the same "Linkage" setting. When you tested it, all of the floating blocks were fixed together because they were all set to Linkage 1. When you changed one of them, it fell because its Linkage setting wasn't matched by any of the others.
I'm guessing the Spore 2 creation had each ring of spikes fixed to a single spinning connector. When the central connector spins, it treats all of the connectors together as a single object.

Dude, the devs need to make a bigger map with more buildings, there's basically no space in the current one
20:40 Ngl, I kinda wish the "backpack" would fold so that the wings stayed upwards, but that's just me, props to the creator for even making this guy transform
That’s true but you should also consider how much the game lags just from destroying the map with 6 buildings. If they had a huge map with a lot of buildings it would run horribly, at least until the game is way more optimized. Such is the sad reality of destructive physics environments
@@stephenantonsson334 I mean, I'm mostly saying because that map is too small, and the creations are getting too big (well, most of them anyways), maybe make something like the desert map but with the same amount of buildings the current one has (or just put the buildings on the desert map, that would work as well), the bigger map would also help if they wanted to add more structures later on, but that's just my 2 cents

The last build seems to be directly inspired by a fictional fighter jet called FRX-00 Mave from the anime Sentou Yousei Yukikaze. It's nearly identical, except it doesn't transform into a mech in the show
Considering the manuevers those jets in Yukikaze can pull off I'm honestly surprised they don't transform.
We need a "china shop" map for that Beast bull creation. Awesome builds. Really makes me want to get this game

The biggest shortcoming with this game is the map size and diversity of scenery. Having an in game world builder would be perfection

Day 111 of asking for a Multiplayer Monday in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot in the mechanic station. Everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, gathering their own materials. No glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races their builds

That mech gave huge macros vibes, the creator must’ve been inspired by one.
I think it is. Even the position of the limbs when it transform back into jet fighter form is similar. The only difference being the head and upper body transformation, although the head is still positioned behind the cockpit as most VF does.

Ok ngl the coolest part to me about that transformer was when the transformation into humanoid form completed, the eye lit up. The whole thing was cool but that final touch just made it hella cool

8:30 in the decor tab there is an "flex connection" which is how you make floating objects

10:41 I think it is the drive that the tank tread used (repulser drive I think) then the gyros keep it still, resulting in the blades spinnings
A jump so good it blew the buildings away.
I hope they scale up the size of the maps and buildings, these instruments of destruction are massive compared to even the simplest build

that looks like the explosion from Akira, i cant even imagine how youd build something like that
Try suspending some missiles in mid air or making a missile boomerang with magnets/vacuums (like missiles orbiting your creation or smth) since they seem to have their own physics (kinda like ragdolls)

Zoids and transformer builds are completely insanity
I wonder if you could use magnets or something to make missiles and missiles pods go extremely fast

i mean like a type of rail gun. Maybe scrap man has already done that though
Yea multiple accumulators does do something, debris only collect when they come in contact with an accumulator or a price of debris that is in contact with one. While you where playing with it in the previous video note how debris would fall off your creation before it was a ball and it would be hard to get going as a ball, and was fairly lopsided early on

So... Intergalactic Aliens are really behind the development of this game and they've left it to us to find new and interesting ways to destroy our own cities, while they sit back, utilize our best ideas, build and use them against us.
You know what would be cool? A giant accumulator magnet.

that transformer looked similar to a Gundam, where it has a sort of transport mode, as well as a combat mode. the creation's are getting crazier by the day LOL

i think the first creation had the particles for thrusters off and the 'canons' on the back were actually thrusters
Wait, a whole tank treads was just with a hole under the whole building was insane And actually crazy
make a centrifuge of missile and with a click of a button they will all go out at a single point charging into that direction
(missile centrifuge, concept is using the vortex or the machine that can blow the missiles and make them go round in a circle, and when u click a button it lets the missiles out of their circular loop)
the Stride Engine works properly only on a fresh started game and with joints stab off... do not ask why!
The 11.1 beast is literally almost a copy of a creation I made on a dif game works the same way
