Don't know which one is worse, the greedy corporates who are constantly stealing from us with their insane price, or a guy stealing from greedy corporates instead of ordinary people. Well, at least one of them is making groceries more affordable for us. 😅😊

@@Absolute-Shite I think it’s return policy is the same nation wide. If u don’t have a receipt for a return they give store credit (gift card). They require a ID so they can track how many receiptless returns you do and they cap u at a certain number but resets every year. My dad does it all the time across many different stores cus he doesn’t try on clothes in store and always loses receipts. There are exceptions, like video games, just cus video games prices fluctuate day to day and are sold literally everywhere
go get a big suitcase, fill the suit case, zip it up, buy the suitcase, dont open. 😅

Walmart has this policy to where you can return something up to 3 times if you don’t have a receipt, if it’s like $10 dollars or less they will give you a refund if it’s more than $10 dollars then they will either put it on a gift card or put the money on a Walmart gift card (like store credit)

I don’t feel bad that anyone steals from places like Target, Walmart or Lowe’s. They are huge corporations that won’t even notice it. Small places I have an issue with.
Risking ur freedom for a 50% rate is INSANE!!! People sell Walmart & amazon gc for 80% maybe 70% nothing LOWER and those are people that card. They don’t go to the actual store it’s too risky.
I shoplift all the time, I don’t mean I put things up my jacket or in a bag then walk out, but instead I go to the self service checkouts and scan maybe 2 of the 10 items I have
It’s funny because most workers don’t get paid enough to deal with b.s anyways but, oh well not my problem 🤷♂️

Good for you..but just so you know stores upcharge their items about 5% to make up for stealing even though retailers on average only loose about 70 cents per 1000$. So while they are completely ripping you off and are happy about it.. you feel bad over a .20.

I always put on a decently big jacket and sweatpants with a lace to tighten the waistband. Whatever product I can fit in there without it showing thru my cloths, I sneak it in my waistband. And take it to the bathrooms(specifically in the back cuz nobody is ever there) and I take off all the barcodes and labels. And I put it back in my waistband and dip. Make sure ur waistband is tight enough so that ur things don’t fall out. I do this with some food and hair products. Even got a small speaker once. Depends on what the product is, when ur in the bathrooms, take it out of the box and put that in ur waistband. If u can, crush the box and flush it down the toilet. And the labels.

Just say you lost the reciept and their not gonna just stand there and not help you, there is people behind u waiting to be served. Theylle assume you bought it and the best they can do is give you an exchange or gift card because you didn't have your reciept with you, you don't even have to show them your form of payment.

Also idk how he was able to return stuff without a receipt, or a card (credit ir debit). Like if you leave your receipts at the register, or throw them away like most people do these days, you can still return sht to Walmart if it was bought with a credit or debit card-obviously you will need the card you made the purchase with-and the customer service employee scans the item and then swipes your card, and boom, instant proof with no receipt needed...
conversely, you pay with cash and have no receipt... tough sht.
Although if he was an addict, moat liky he had some game and the gift of gab (or he was a gorilla that would pit preron people until they bend), but that is a shortsighted game. You can only do that for so long so many times, and once you do that at a store, that's it for you there lol you ain't getting any kind of anything from there the finesse route anymore; skrait up shoplifting is your only go-to at that point, and if you made a scene last time applying pressure at the return desk, there's gonna be eyes on you... well, _more_ eyes on you (them damn cameras).
Shoplifting from big box stores of any type is so fkn difficult now (unless you fool the self-checkout 😉). _Or,_ if you have Walmart(s) like the one I mainly go to where the employees are mostly young, timid (wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight, let alone persue someone willing to steal from them), and these employees don't give a sht about _nuthin',_ and the majority of the employees there an hour before closing are the overnight stockers that usually wear plain clothes with headphones on, and they _really_ don't GAF about nuthin lol this is also a very ghetto Walmart too, and once something goes outta stock, it can be months before it's replenished lol
and especially when it's like 2200/an hour or half hour before closing (you don't wanna go within 10mins or less) because the employees all gather by the checkout stations bc they wanna try to passove aggressively rush people out the door bc they just wanna go home too.
That, and they watch harder just in case a customer leaves an unwanted item at the register bc they changed their mind, ao the employees are going to instantly return it to it's spot so there's no lingering return items that will hold them up. Plus there's normally fewer shoppers, so the "herd" is thinned out which makes it easier for employees and cameras to focus on individuals (especially for the receipt checkers), but again, if the employees are a bunch of kids who just wanna clock out and go party or watch Netflix at home, there may not be an issue.
Especially since this specific location for YEARS has never had a manager on the floor, or in the store at all at night time. However, as of late September (as in last month) i have seen for the first time, night shift managers on the sales floor actually doing things, probably because the store underwent a massive remodeling, as well as an overhaul on the old self check-out "corral system" that had the self checkout registers that formed a corral and made the customers herd in like cattle (now the self checkouts are in semi-wide to very narrow aisles) that may have 1-4 self checkout registers per aisle, and it seems rather random as to whoch aisles will be wide, or narrow, have 2-4 SC registers, or just one, etc...
it's easier for the employees to supervise and be able to keep eyes on individuals more effectively, versus the more chaotic corral system. Anyway, I think that's why this location has managers working the late hours now. Probably also because a certain someone keeps ripping them off lol self checkouts are still easy to bypass though. Even if the easier corral system is no more, because as long as there are lazy employees who really don't care about their job or the store, you can get away.
We have three more Walmart supercenters, and three Neighborhood Walmarts (the latter can be a bit harder to steal from), and these other supercenter locations are actually pretty good, like as far as employees attitude and presence of management (as well as tidiness, efficiency, in combination with the cameras, etc), and those are the stores that will most likely catch a traditional shoplifter and self checkout scammer. Running the retun-gift card game may not even work. Idk, I only gamble on bets I know are winners. And the stores know that too.
Having a squared away store with lots of employees that try is a deterrent all in its own.

thats all fun and games til you get felony obtaining property by false pretense. And the gift cards get cleared off- you can't do that anywhere anymore, they wont return stuff over like 30 or 40 bucks without reciept.

It's not something my anxiety nerves would allow to startup an operation that big....certainly not on my own...but I know I've never been so desperate on universal credit...never any money...jobhunting is a disaster for me whatever i try to do or do..so I shoplift I guess sometimes...when I'm desperate and hate doing it because its always about victim blaming and punishing even if it's the tight fisted meanness of Conservative znd republican governments in recent years and beyond...but ofc they get medals,gongs,awards,endless praise and endorsement (what phones and phoney politicians do best)
