Really? Honestly the standard was much lower by nearly everyone. Hera and Lierry wouldn't make the mistakes they both made in the final at last NAC. Viper, Yo, Heart and Tatoh both miles off their best. Daut and ACCM didn't show up despite ACCM doing well recently online. In terms of players showing up, its basically Vinch who performed really well. Hera was far more ruthless and much stronger at both HC5 and RBW5 (despite it being a different game mode). Yo was far better at NAC5. The fact that you and 12 other people agree with that statement just shows how much this esport scene relies on casuals under 1k elo. Surely you're not telling me Hera nearly losing on enclosed after shutting down the Cuman 2 TC boom is high level? Or Lierry being miles ahead with Persians in G1 and deciding to cut production without scouting? Or Lierry just not scouting at all on African Reed Beds and assuming the Ethiopian's only make archers? Or Lieery not realizing that Hera has snuck a villager on Citadel in nearly every game he played? Thats only the finals, that's not even the slop that Daut and Dogao were playing. Or how far off Viper and Tatoh were both mechanically and stategically. So once again, calling it "bEsT aOe 2 eVeR" is just some consoomer hyperbole garbage comment that is typical of most of the community who still click everything instead of using hotkeys.

Incredible tournament. Got to the final late so was watching offset as I wrapped christmas and I can't help but think back to when Hera was battling to increase credibility as possible 2nd in the world vs Lierey with Viper being uncontestable. Watching his story unfold throughout the years and then having the privilege to follow every S tier event this year was absolutely incredible. Massive shoutout to everyone involved. Awesome to see Ellie get to step up into S Tier events is awesome too!! Thank you so much to all. Massive congratulations to Hera who's now truly starting to chip away at Viper's GOAT status

ok. I was skeptical about the quiz show at the start, but I thought i'd give it a chance. It was a lot of fun. Please do this at every event. I thought it should be a little bit more uh... fleshed out, but... It was a lot of fun with the questions. Maybe add a third category of audience vote? The audience should win sometimes, right? :)
My only complaint is that we miss a bit of the energy from the watch party in the end like Red Bull so at the end they should have had a watch party cam and in house cam with Hera celebrating and talking to his mates and friends and competitors. Like more after match cam and attention they just ended stream out of nowhere.

I believe Franks also belong in that group of civs: Bearded Axe tech increases the range of the Throwing Axe Men.

I’m talking about the last of the questions in round 1 (Nelson briefly refers to it as the end of round one, though the rounds are not very clearly defined otherwise) - the one where they’re given a selection of civs and are asked what’s unique to this group of civs. The final one is ‘Aztecs, Britons, Turks and Hindustanis’ and the unique commonality is claimed to be that one of their unique techs increases a unit’s range. But the examples above should show that the civ list is incomplete as given in the question.
@@Dawnrim I see production didn't actually include the answer overlay, but the answer I sent them was: "A UT that increases the range of at least 1 archery range unit" Which excludes both Armenians and Franks. Don't remember exactly what "team deutschland" replied with, but if it was not that, I guess it must have been close enough and then for the sake of the show I decided to be generous and just give them the point :P

I was really enjoying this tournament I was almost through watching the swiss stages . Then I saw the names making it to the finals... Way to ruin a good tournament now that I know who made it to the end there really isn't any point in watching any games... Way to spoil the tournament guys
Because it was a Lierry throw? Persians being in control at that point should never let it slip. For whatever reason Lierry just never goes deep into castle even when its the right play. He thinks he always needs to up to imp to kill someone. If he just kept flooding the RIGHT units (not double cav into halbs WTF is that 1000 elo choice) it wouldn't have been a contest. They were exactly right and if anything not harsh enough on it. The blind assumption that Hera was going into Archers on ARB was also extremely non-pro like. Yeah he lost his scout, still could've sent a skirm or literally anything to see the lack of archers (A fully walled Hera on that map would not just have a stack of archers sitting around doing nothing - so if he scouted he'd logically be able to assume it wasn't archers). He also had 6 or 7 eagles that Lierry did see.
Vodka living up to its name, i think he comes after drinking vodka and misses so many important parts and rather uses unit follow on parts where nothing is happening and misses important fights and also misses what casters tell him to do. can we have someone else next time or make him stop drinking vodka?
A suggestion, you should increase the length of the video so it is more difficult to see how many games there are left when you get towards the end of the series.
