This showed up on my feed and I had to watch! On baby 5 here and lord has it been very hard. A very high risk pregnancy so unfortunately will be my last. Seeing you have 11 healthy babies, you are so blessed. Beautiful baby and mama.
Big hugs to you, I wouldn't consider this last pregnancy high risk but the few small issues I did have were nerve wracking, so I can't imagine how hard it must be for you, I just said a prayer for you.
Today is the first day I've seen your videos on Homeschool (which led me to this one) and I just had to say how impressed I am with your standards and demeanor, your children and this world are truly blessed that you have contributed in such a profound way to a better world. There is a book called Wife for Life, by Ramona Zabreskie in which she describes the spirit of a pioneer woman and what that looks like in the life of a woman who chooses to marry and raise a family, from where I stand you are a living portrait of that woman -- an amazing example of what motherhood is supposed to look like. Thank you for sharing your life and light! Congratulations on your new little beauty, what a lucky little girl to have such a bright future with such a loving family! Great job mama!
Congratulations! My goodness, she's a sweetie! I am so glad you are doing well; take your time returning to a heavy workload your body needs to recover. The joy that shows on your face is beautiful.🤗
Look at that sweet face! It truly is so special having a baby in the house. Glad to hear you are all well. Isn't your oldest getting married soon? Seems like you and your family are living a very full life. Hey, your hydrangeas are stunning!
Had #9 in July, same story as you basically but I lost half my blood volume, needed 3 transfusions and then had to get a uterine ablation to control bleeding, so now my uterus has retired as I can’t carry full term now. Happy you didn’t need any of that. I’m 40 and recovery from that plus the c section has been rough. Hope now into the fall you and her are doing great ❤❤
Just found your channel through this video and I just wanted to come in here and say Oh my goodness that baby couldn’t look more like you if she tried on purpose! 😂 Congratulations! We also just had a new arrival three weeks ago. He is our 9th
Well thank you!!! She has my husband's coloring, but I've seen myself in her face just a bit, but I was wondering if I was making it up!! Congratulations on your 9th, what a special time!
She is beautiful and you look amazing! Congratulations we also have 11 children. I have really enjoyed your work because I feel like you understand my life!! We are also going to start using Memoria Press this year and I just had our 11th at 40 also in the middle of our first year homeschooling!
Congratulations on your 11th! Thank you so much for your kind words! Using Memoria Press is so worth it, and each year will get a little easier for you as you find your rhythm!
The baby is now five months old and is in a good nap routine and when she is awake she's super happy. I can put her in her little baby seat, but usually, one of the children want to hold her while I teach! This would have been much harder when she was a newborn, but thankfully, her newborn months were over the summer, so we could just focus on her, which was so nice! In the past, when I was having a baby about every two years, we would homeschool year round so that we could still get it all done, even when end of pregnancy, or the newborn months would slow us down. My highschoolers are currently enrolled in four online classes each with excellent teachers, so I am not the one having to teach their material. I just need to be available to proofread papers, explain concepts they are having trouble in and help them with flashcards. The other subjects that aren't online are more self study.
So lovely to see you back again Ashley. Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter Mary Elinor (not sure of the spelling). Glad everything went ok, she's adorable. Look forward to anything you're able to put on you tube bu don't stress if you can't, we all understand. Hoping to see you again soon, much love xxx
Thank you so much, Dee. I'm hoping to post videos more than every six months, but not pushing myself on that front. There's so much to do here at home, but if I can just remember to turn on the camera, it's pretty easy to make that type of video! :)
Yeah Goats Milk! We use Mt. Capra. They had a recipe and we made our own formula! I never knew that was a thing!!!! She is now 14 months. Has never had antibiotics. We noticed a HUGE difference in digestive issues! The formulas available in the US are Criminal!
Wish I'd known about this kind of stuff years ago. I was physically unable to feed my babies, despite all my hard work and trial and error (including supplements and medications!). I just *could not* do it. Then I got c••cer, so if we are ever blessed with more, I can't even try again because they're gone. My failures and ignorance is why I tell as many people as possible about the better alternatives out there.
Yes! I was a vegetarian for a few years, but started getting cavities in my teeth after 35 years without any cavities, so I decided to re-introduce meat into my diet. I had been eating meat for a little over a year when I became pregnant with Mary Eleanor. My husband and older children hunt and so we end up with around 6 deer in the freezer, so we eat venison for about half the year. Venison has about double the amount of iron that beef does (I just learned that recently!), so I believe the venison had something to do with my numbers. But all through my third trimester, I was craving hamburgers, which I have never craved before, pregnant or not. So we made beef burgers every Saturday, and my husband would make a few extra for me to have throughout the week whenever I wanted one. So eating venison, and eating beef quite a few times a week must have done it. After birth, we wanted to get my iron levels back up as quickly as possible, so I was eating at least one serving of beef daily.
Yes, I take a prenatal, prenatal dha, and I also take a custom mineral supplement that is formulated for me based on bloodwork and an htma test (hair, tissue mineral analysis).
Ashley. I worry you are trying to be perfect darling. I am a pastors wife of 35 years. We are NOY perfect. You and your children are absolutely beautiful. God said a full quiver is 5 Arrows. God bless you all as you follow his will.
I'm only working 1-2 hours per day right now, and I squeeze that in during the hour that my husband takes care of lunch for the children, and in the evening. Homeschooling will start up again in earnest at the end of August, and thankfully I have a lot of experience making that work with a baby. :)
So cute and sweet 😇 ...only thing is this world is so bad and evil I wouldn't want to bring a baby into this world. I am concerned about my kids and grandchildren when I'm gone. I pray for their protection all the time. Sorry it's just how I feel. I lost my son at 14 days old to heart condition. I just don't see anything getting better
Patti, I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your son, that's so tough. My prayers are with you. My view is that the only way things are going to get better is if people raise up children to be world-changers, and that's what my husband and I are endeavoring to do. ❤️
My goodness look at all the hair she has my baby had hair like that too my last one which is a little girl, and they called her the baby with the wig. It was down to her shoulders are all your babies like that with all that hair?
She’s so beautiful 😍 Ashley!! Big congrats on everything ❤❤❤

Thank you so much, Sandie! I'm doing my best not to over-do it!
Congratulations! She’s beautiful. I was 42 with my youngest. It was a lot more tiring at that age, but such a blessing.
Yes, such a blessing...I'm trying to just soak it all up!
It's so good to hear from you! Congratulations! She is beautiful! 💗💗💗

I just watched your Large Family Homeschooling Morning Routine video and am wondering how you balance school (particularly highschool!) with a baby 🙏💕
The baby is now five months old and is in a good nap routine and when she is awake she's super happy. Ashley, Congratulations, she is beautiful! God Bless!
Thank you so much! We are feeling so blessed to have her.
I had my last daughter at 42 aswell.
Congratulations! She’s perfect! Can you tell us how you kept your iron levels so good? Good, supplements?

New to your channel what is the age range of your children?
My oldest is 21 and the baby is 9 weeks now.
I had #8 @ 42…9 lbs 10 oz…he is perfect!
Congratulations on your #8!
We love the Holle goats milk formula from Germany. Im glad you found something she does well with. 😊
I have a friend who uses the Holle. I feel so much better about giving Mary Eleanor the goats milk formula, than putting her on the regular options.
@@AshleyMBuffa Way better ingredients. 🥰
