Leyland National 51, Return of the Nationals, and a few other buses.

Following on from Leyland National 50 event on 2022. It was decided to have a another event in 2023 following the similar lines of the previous year. With a mixture of Leyland Nationals, Leyland buses and buses local.to the area, running along former routes, ending with a line up at the old Leyland factory in Lillyhall.
This year saw buses from all over attend the two day event with 14 Leyland Nationals attending along with former Cumberland buses, A couple of Tigers, and the Ikarus 260 bus.
Cumberland Mkll 378 made her debut at the show following her restoration and new engine.
There was also a few surprises at the weekend, the unveiling of the new Exhibition Bus owned by the Workington Transport Heritage Trust, and the sudden appearance of Barrow Corporation Mkll National 'Barrow 20' which everyone thought was dead, but a transplant with 378 engine brought the Barrow Beast back to life.
Through the video, we see some of the static display buses parked up, aswell as least one video of every bus that was running at the weekend. before ending on the Line Up at the Leyland Factory, where the Merseyside buses were lined up, as well all 5 of the Workington Transport Heritage Trust Nationals for the first time.

What does REV 01 stand for on that Leyland National 😍

I believe it may have stood for 'Research Experimental Vehicle 01' when it used as a test bus for different equipment Leyland were coming up with for the Nationals.
