Im going to hyd on coming thursday. Ill take the route via chorla ghat. Its now repaired completely. Rest the same as ypuve taken from belgaum to hyd .thanks 👍
It takes 14-16 hours to reach Goa from Hyderabad since you have a beast of a machine you managed well to reach within 13hrs, HOWEVER the new road from SOLAPUR can make you reach an hour earlier or so,
Hi sir/madam welcome to Gulbarga my place where I stay I m from Bihar I was ur video u just passed from my house where I stay my mother house is in Goroul Bihar good to see u in Gulbarga visit again u get good food in Gulbarga
Hello sir.. It was a very informative video. We are planning to visit Goa next month by road and wanted to check...if there is any specific reason to reach Belgaum via Vijayapura road instead of Solapur and sangli? As we will be travelling along with a one year old infant.
Hello. You would have reached Goa earlier if you used either Anmod or Chorla Ghat to enter Goa from Belgaum side. Those coming from kolhapur side usually take Amboli ghat. Nevertheless safe journey.
Since everyone has their own version of the best route to Goa, let me shed some more light on this, since I reside in Goa, South Goa to be specific. The closest point to reach the expressway for my trips is via Belgaum. The shortest route in terms of kms is via Anmod Ghat, but with continuous farmer protests over road widening, this route is an incomplete nightmare. I now only take the chorla route which adds half an hour more of my drive time to reach belgaum. My best time under ideal road conditions has been 3.15 hrs and my worst being 4.30 hrs. I have also used the southern most route via karwar, ankola towards Hubbali when I travelled last towards bangalore, but the kalaghati section was bad and I could reach the expressway only after 6+hrs of drive time. There is another route via tilari ghat from Belgaum but that is preferred if North Goa is your destination. At the end of the day, to each his own, but one needs just a bit of common sense and latest road info about conditions on ghat routes, to determine the fastest route to enter Goa. I have tried the Sawantwadi Amboli section too when travelling towards Pune but the Ajra section always is bad and slows overall speed.
@@judesaldanha555we're going to goa this month .. we'll start from hyderabad.. how will this route be ?? Humnabad - Solapur - Sangli - Chikodi - Amboli ghats - Vagator
@@chalonish Hi. We recently did Margao to Nashik this Ganesh Chaturthi holidays. Since the entire western coast has been receiving abnormally heavy rainfall, I expected overall road conditions to be bad...and I was not wrong. I always take the Chorla Belgaum route and repair work is in progress, but overall it is much better than the Anmod section where I have heard cars bottom out alot. I am aware of the Amboli route to Goa but have never taken the Chikodi road. I usually exit at Goa Ves hotel near nipani ghat on the expressway. There is another route via solapur-sangli-kolhapur city and then towards the new coastal highway. The NHAI is currently working on the new Mumbai to Goa coastal highway and certain sections are still incomplete leading to mild off roading. Whichever route you decide on, please factor in a bit extra time for road works. BTW even the MH section of expressway is undergoing expansion, hence many diversions between Belgaum - Kolhapur and upwards towards satara. If I had to advise you, I would suggest you check the status of roads in KA on team bhp and see if Hubli option is better. Roads in goa are fantastic as always. Wish you a safe trip...
You have taken wrong route. After Bagalkot you should go to Gadag-Dharwad -Kalghatagi-Yallapur-Karwar route. Even in Yallapur ghat, roads are nice compared to roads from Belgaum side. From Belgaum side, till you reach Goa, roads are narrow and bad in most places.
very good and elaborate video next time go to humpi and then Goa its better rout u can also stay in humpi and see the historic temple the traffic is less from humpi to Goa..
Hi Sir, Which is the Best and safest route to travel to calangute beach ( north goa) from KPHB side (Hyderabad) ? PS:- I just learnt driving few months back.
DONT take "Belgavi to khanpur to Tinai (mollem) ghat to Goa route", it is worst route, i never thought reach destination without a flat tyre in middle of thick Forest, 5 kms of single road between khanpur to Anmod , and worst condition, luckily reached safely. Take Dharwad to Mollem road, which is NH67.
Hi..i loved seeing your video of the trip with your family. I am travelling to South Goa on March 3rd with my wife and 4 year daughter from secunderabad. Can you please share the main directions that I should look out for. I am a bit confused and don't want to make. Mistake
Hi, I am planning for a road trip from Hyderabad to Goa. My concern is any ghat road on the way. or any other way where we can avoid ghat road. I am not confident in Ghat road. thank you in advance.
No chance of avoiding ghats, entire west coast is covered with western ghats. From any route you go, you have to negotiate a ghat. But a tip: After Bagalkot don't go towards Belgaum. Go to Gadag-Dharwad-Kalghatagi-Yallapur-Karwar route. Even in Yallapur ghat roads are wide and nice as compared to roads from Belgaum side.
We have followed the route mentioned couple of days back, however there are lot of speed breakers which would eventually make you so tired. FYI: Preferable to follow other route
Hyderabad - humnabad- solapur - sangli - nipani - amboli ghat (waterfall). North goa

Yes, you are right, but got to know that the road condition is not good in that route(as per local ppl).
Belgaum road is pathetic. Never try that side. Best road is Hyd-Kurnool-Bellari-Hubli-Dharwad. Tollgate charges are high though
