- Complete stream of Event 3 from the Strongman competition at the 2022 Rogue Invitational in Round Rock, Texas. The Rogue Husafell Sandbag Carry challenged each competitor to carry the 400 LB sandbag version of the famous Husafell Stone for max distance. Ukrainians Oleksii Novikov and Pavlo Nakonechnyy both took substantial strolls, but Canadian Mitchell Hooper covered even more ground to get himself back in the competition.

I think this is a rare mental mistake for Martins. It looks like he holds the bag sideways instead of the thick part of the sandbag high on his chest. I thought he would take some more time as well to get it situated at the start. This could really cost him
I think he thought he could sit back and readjust like he was lifting a stone. You see him try to do it towards the end.
I do agree though, big mistake.
It wasn't that apparently the event was changed in a short space in short time and in end came out to heavy

Terrible camera work here. We missed a lot of drops and it's so far away most of the time. I seen cameramen on the sideline why isn't it the primary? This also applies to many other events I've seen so far. The camera work is terrible for this event imo.

I'd much prefer 5 groups of 2, not 2 groups of 5. There's far too much happening and you have no idea about lengths because you lose track of who has turned and who hasn't

Video team didn’t seem well prepared for this
The way this was done, was stupid, mixing crossfit nonsense into this, strongman is about showman ship as much as strength, you can see that in some of the stuff rogue built but then this, was just stupid, I want to see each competitor battling it out with eachother not a crossfit mashup of mixed chaos. Props to the athletes for showing up for it though and battling it out, just like crossfit the smart ones won the race.
Dude, strongman has been going carrying events since the beginning. Just because CrossFit also does it sometimes doesn’t make it CrossFit lmao
@@theparadisesnare not 5 people at a dam time, so you cant even tell whos where and crap, that ended exactly like it does in the lower strongman shows or crossfit last one to go knew exactly how far to win
@@NicholasMavrikBrandt Seems like more a problem with the production crew rather than the actual event. Many other productions handle this type of event just fine.
