- Scrolling through marketplace I came across this 93 Sunlite Eagle truck camper! Covered for quite some time, in great shape, and up for a reasonable price. So, I negotiated a deal with the seller and brought it home. Today the weather finally decided to cooperate to uncover it and take a closer look. It has been covered in the driveway since I brought it home. I also touch base just a little bit about future plans and upgrades.

Nice find on marketplace!
That lift system is called a heca system if you ever needed to find rack gear or lift block. Nice find. I've got a 91 Skyhawk that fits on my Tacoma.
On my sunlite I hated the single jack on one side. So I moved it to the back corner, and added another to the front corner.
Hello! We are Terry and Terri of TerryX2Explore. Love to meet fellow explorers! Your camper looks pretty nice. We have just (almost) finished remodeling a 1984 Skamper to be our fulltime home! Looking forward to seeing what adventures you have in your new camper!! 💙Terry and Terri
Our first was a skamper we traveled out west for 8 months in it, in 2017. It’s a great way to see the country!! I put a link to our skamper tour/review, in the video

@@LostTravels Thank you! I will definitely check that out. ;-)
Nice!! I have a black 1st gen tundra and a 1993 sun lite as well! Mine is a sky hawk but very similar.
Well you answered I question I had with my Sunlite camper. I was wondering why I didn't have a furnace. I do have the roof AC, and I have a dry bathroom. I also noticed you don't have hot water like mine.
Living in South Texas the AC is the most important thing for me.
Up date, I now have a furnace in my Camper. A guy gave it to me for free. It's 2 years old but was never used.
Awesome
nice
Looking at one around the same year. Do you know the interior height and dimensions of bed and weight capacity?
Where do you get the decals from?
thx
how much does it weigh?
Very cool I’m trying to trade for a 97
Hey! I just bought a sunlite camper and now I’m at the point where I’m trying to mount it. Could you help me out with figuring out how to do so?
Sure, how can I help?
What is the weight, bed width requirement?
Still have it? Wanna sell?
Nice video, I just recently started to look at these campers I would like to purchase one for my ram 1500 short box I'm not sure what would be considered as a fair price on market place, what did you pay for that one ?
I paid 2,500 for this one, that being said, a good one is hard to find in my area.
@@LostTravelsI paid $2,600 for mine.
Mine has the inside bathroom. Other then that it look just like this one.
I supposed to be looking at a sunlite eagle tommorow... guy wants 300$ for it. Supposedly only needs a good cleaning and new canvas.. I'm afraid it won't fit in my 2019 ram 1500. 😢 only 6.5 ft with the gate opened. But dammit for $300 im gonna give it my best.
I have a chance to buy a camper same model Wondering if it will fit my Nissan Titan 6.5 bed
Should be fine width wise.. in my tundra with the tailgate down it’s nearly identical length, I just used a small turnbuckle to pull the tailgate up flush against the bottom of the camper. My bed measures 6 ft 5 inches with tailgate closed
