Fantastic restoration on this Antique Monkey Wrench. I really like the handle too. You absolutely have a great eye for detail. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe
Me and my grandpa just rehandled one of these that belonged to his dad two or three days ago. It's cool seeing another one, and another way of doing it.
Talk about trash to treasure. My dad had an old monkey Wrench that came from the old aftermarket Bentley repair tool kit. It had tools made from Damascus steel. The monkey Wrench had walnut wood handles. The screwdrivers had mother of pearl inlays that corresponded to what type of screwdriver it was. Perfectly etched with the Flying B logo stamped in. A company called Gibson or something similar to that made it. He got it from a garage sale. The guy selling it had no idea what was inside the tool kit. He just thought it was a leather bag with a giant flashlight that takes those big square batteries inside. He didn't realize that underneath the flashlight was this exquisite tool set.
Why not start with the wire wheel? You'll have 95% less rust and dirt and you won't need the rust remover. At the very least the rust remover will last a lot longer.
Fake and staged: everything you restore has the same look, texture, amount and color of rust . You are definitely pre-rusting things for your videos. I’m outta of here!
Nice restoration job. There is a great sense of pleasure in restoration work. Thanks for sharing.

Nice job: a tool from the days when all nuts were square.
Just realized I have the same bench vise as you do, or at least nearly! Last homeowner here abandoned it in the shed, I'll have to clean it up!

I just bought one of those wrenches at a pawn shop 2 days ago. It’s a bigger version though. Identical except it’s about 16” long.

"Erectin a dispenser" "BAP!"
A+
I just did one like this only much bigger. Was that a Bemis & Call H&T Co. from Springfield, MA?
1:16 how does blaster compare to Wd-40?

Everybody knows you can't repair a Bentley with average looking tools. It's just not done.😃❤
I cant be the only one to hear that @ 0:43
What was that bit with the electricity and the metal tumors appearing? What was going on there?
👍
Why trying to remove the rust by hand, and then blasting??? //Lars

If you can get it where you are i would suggest getting (Evapo Rust) I beleave it may be much better at removing rust than WD-40 rust remover.
I use these for Hitting bully's
Why didn’t you just sand blast it to start with.
🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍👍👍
Perfect filler welds 😂
Looks like it's time to restore your vice
У меня от сварки прям кровь из глаз пошла
Да ладно врат- то)))
@@1nervi ну ладно почти, просто как сварщик он так себе
why not just sandblast the rust away from the very beginning?
Look forward to seeing this again on TikTok stolen from ya by people that cant make their own content.
Just another ad and expensive product. $3 for a gallon of vinegar
