Hi Diane, I really enjoyed this. Would you be willing to share a list of the colours you've found (Holbien and others) to supplement your Prismas - I'm looking to do the same thing. I think it's a brilliant idea. Are Holbiens similar enough to Prismas in feel to use in this way? Many thanks 😊
Hi Karen, sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I haven’t added that many pencils to my Prisma set but here are the Holbein pencils that I have added: Orange, Iris, Pansy, Ice Green. I also added the Derwent Drawing Chinese White bc it’s more opaque. To my Polychromos pencil set, I only added a few Holbein pencils: Cherry Blossom, Ice Green. I also added: Brutfuner Lilac and Lyra Pink Madder Lake. I hope this helps. Holbeins are a much harder pencil than Prismas but I really like them.
