Guessing you're gradually making your way back to PDX--being that IAH is my home airport,could point out landmarks but probably be indifferent to them--unusual to see such a backup of departures,counted at least 10(!) a/c waiting their turn,love hearing the roar of departing aircraft--time to get away from Houston heat and return to Portland's cool weather--BTW,how are you handling those above average temps as reported in the news?
I was actually making my way to warmer weather in Phoenix! Was 116 when I landed and 118 both days I was there. Glad I'm someone who does well in extreme heat!
They are expanding Terminal D which is the international terminal out of IAH I flew out of IAH in June of 2021 to fly to Athens they were working on the terminal at that time it’s supposed to be finished in 2024
