- Trails Of Evidence: In criminal investigations, a simple clue can provide the missing link by placing a suspect at a crime scene. Dirt left on shoes, tires or clothes, or even a tiny piece of plastic can pinpoint a crime scene. But it takes the keen eye of the forensic investigator to follow the trail of evidence that leads to the killer.Approximately 1.8 million Americans are reported missing each year. Some are runaways who find their way home, but others simply disappear. When foul play is suspected, investigators turn to forensics to find the missing.

Blind Trust: In 1998, a New Mexico college student is reported missing by her roommate. When investigators recover blood samples, the two boys last seen with the missing woman are questioned, and blame each other for her disappearance. The 18-year-old’s body is found in the desert with multiple stab wounds, and evidence points to the two boys.
A woman is spotted lying in the road off Interstate 81in Washington County, and appears to have been run over. Upon inspection by police, the woman has also been strangled. Investigators conclude the tire tracks are from a large truck, and begin a massive search for clues at several truck stops. Sometimes, the people you have come to trust can turn out to be your worst enemy.

Always well-narrated, systematic and well-presented, and without excessive repetition. Very good crime shows.
Yes, and triple shows are three times as good.
Gene Galusa; always a favorite voice over actor of mine.
Is that his name? Thank you, I'm glad to know it. It's easy to remember, too. It has a nice ring to it.
I can't imagine bubble wrap being very effective as a silencer.
You might need to test it out.

I think it would work better as body armor.
Praising God for these detectives!! The things they see and are exposed to. Oh my!
Wait a sec! She was 16 and he was 40. PLEASE someone tell me I heard wrong, even after replaying 😮😮😮😢
You heard right. Different times. I married in 80's 16 husband 34- today? Nope .... likely not allowed
LOL!! I'm watching this 4 months later and I, too, could NOT digest that. Doomed from the start. Her mother didn't try hard enough and where was dad? Maybe dad had passed and this was part of the problem.
Did I hear this detective correctly? “ We have to take steps to protect the scene” The world and his wife , wandering in and out of the crime scene, without any form of protective clothing!!
The video is only a dressing to entertain you. It is not put up there to be accurate. I hope this helps you to understand however they did make a flaw with the test that they make on somebody's hand to see if they've fired a gun is not to detect metal necessarily it is to text paraffin because that's what they call it the paraffin test. Gunpowder residue it sticks on the hand after you fired your gun and it is hard to get off completely.
Satan is allover and everywhere!😢😢
Satan is just a name given to evilness. Like gods, it is a man-made fiction. If you say god is real you have been brainwashed.
Satan is man-made just like all gods are.
Satan is man-made just like all the gods worldwide. They do not exist at all.
No such thing as Satan. It's man-made just like all gods are. UA-cam please do not delete this comment. Ok?
If by Satan you mean evil, then yes.
Higginbotham is pronounced as Higginbottom. At least in Britain it is pronounced that way. Therefore I would say it is correct.
it is so stupid people should let police know about a car left six months to long
☹️
I BELIEVE THERE WAS A POLICE MOLE IN THIS CASE. HOW ELSE COULD THE EMORY'S KNOW FOR SURE SHE WAS WIRED!!!!!!RMO
The blocks are cleared- detectives.🙃
sounds like agent starling
It’s amazing how those scientist were able to find the car in the river
I was thinking the very same thing. This was years before the high-tech sonar equipment we see quite a few using nowadays for such an amazing cause. I don't want to diminish anything - but it's incredible to see how these intelligent men applied hard science, wow!!!
Thanks to lab detectives who have to go thru alll those icky tests to get justice for victims.⭐
Excellent Dedication 2 Duty.
People are so sick how they take another human being so life this is so sickening. I’m so angry.
cool it
@@ndafyst4769 no I’m not goingI’m so sick and tired of another human being taking the lives of other human beings
@@ATKATKHIM123 It's part of human nature. If it wasn't for police and prisons, many more people would get killed.
@@ndafyst4769would u say that to the person who took your family members life???

Who knew flies could be so useful?
They are useful in many other wonderful ways. "For instance, did you know that if all flies were to disappear tomorrow, the world's chocolate supply would vanish too? Chocolate comes from seeds of the cacao tree. To produce those seeds, the trees rely on the pollination services of more than a dozen species of biting flies called midges." If you like chocolate (who doesn't?) you have one more reason to like flies.
Not forgetting that like in everything, there are the good blokes and the bad blokes among them. By the way, the number of good blokes (and sheilas too, methinks) among flies is much larger then the number of bad ones - if in fact we can talk about them in terms of good and bad.
One more thing. There is a very interesting book by Vincent Dethier called "To Know a Fly". Very good reading. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing, did not know most of the stuff you shared. Will check out the book.@@3BK235Y
Im so glad they found Christine and Carly
I love these shows … watch them all the time . Netflix etc have become so trivial 😂
Yes, and there are so many it will probably take me months to watch them all.
We don't say clerk that way. It is pronounced clark but spelt clerk.
26:00-26:06?
British is best.
In my region we pronounce clerk that way...just like the word work. It's fascinating to me how different we can all sound, while all being Americans. Very cool! I'm referring to English, of course.
It's like he was keeping trophies but he push the car in the river
Im not sure I agree with that detective method, treating all suicides as homocides. Thats like looking for someone to pin it on.
I guess to a degree, thats what detectives are for. But the more they dig around looking for a murder, the higher risk of putting an innocent person in jail. If they dig hard and long I'm sure they could find enough circumstantial eveidence on someone.

@@fionagregory9147 I dunno. They look kinda gay to me.
@@TheLowerNard-sc6rq ha-ha. Welp, they need to treat them with that frame of mind, testing for GSR and securing the crime scene.
@@quickchris10 I'm not gonna tell them how to do their job. I just hope they dont dig on someone for the wrong reason. Not because they might get the wrong guy, but ignore the right one.
I can listen for hours , excellent shows voice natural ,
I can not tolerate sick fake put on accents which seem to be the by norm.
Well done 😂
Rest in peace Christine. The police shpuld have put you under protection as a cooperating witness. This never should have happened.
That's true. Police did a sloppy job, and didn't take good care of her. And they knew the bloke was very dangerous. So sad the girl died, and in such a tragic way. At least, in the end, they found her killer.
How can a mother leave a 12 yr old on her own...I think that's totally disgusting
Yes, a girl that age alone while mom's at the bar?
1:06:36 Excailbur IS the sword, King Arthur was the owner??🤷🏼♂️🤣
1:06:44-1:06:50 ExcaLIbur, Michael. Not ExcaILbur. A slip of the finger, I reckon. Thanks for giving the time stamp. Most people don't do that, and expect we can spot in a 90-minute video the place they are commenting on.
Didnt they check the girlfriends leg for cuts?
I don't know.
@@fionagregory9147 it will go down as one of the worlds greatest mysteries.
@@TheLowerNard-sc6rq yes you could be right.
Poor Jodie. Tied up and then suffocated via duct tape to mouth and nostrils is beyond words for evil. Horror, unreal.

10:15:00 -... whose key?,...my key?
Music way to loud.
Your ears pricked up? I believe the term you are looking for is, "My ears perked up."
Believe it or not…many people say ears pricked up…it’s just as useful as perked up….
You could even say "my ears wiggled". My ears can wiggle on command. Lotsa ppl cqn.@lorraineforster8164
