Chris explains how to clean your humidifier in simple steps.
➢ Before cleaning the humidifier make sure the power has been turned off and the humidifier is unplugged from the mains.
➢ Once the humidifier has been used for 72 hours it will automatically stop working as it requires cleaning. The lights on the LED display will blink every two seconds. All the functions set will be saved and the buttons on the display will be disabled.
➢ The cleaning of the following four components must be carried out: the ultra-sonic pad, the water tank, the inside of the base and the calcium carbonate filter. These should be cleaned as frequently as advised in the instructions below, however they MUST be cleaned every 72 hours when the LED lights start to blink.
➢ Once the cleaning is complete hold the power button down for three seconds. This will reset the accumulator to 0 hours.
➢ Press the power button again and the humidifier will run as per before.

Hi, in one of your video you said about salt solution for water filter. According manual, it's should be an 5% salt solution, which is 50 grams of salt/Liter of water, according my calculations. Should I use basic food salt, or it is some kind special salt? Can it be sea/iodized salt? Thank you.

@meaco there is an 18L variant and is exlcusive to costco, it states on their site it is 250w and many of the specs seem to be the same as the 20L variant, would you be able to confirm the wattage of this model please?

Just people don't get confused this question is about a dehumidifier and not the humidifier in this video.
The 18L at Costco is almost identical to the 20L available elsewhere, just that 2L or 10% difference. The energy efficiency is neigh on identical and you can go off the 20L data.

It filters all air coming into it using a combined HEPA and charcoal filter. Add to this the ultra violet sterilisation of the water and you can be sure that the humidified air is clean.
