Brick definitely has a burner Badlands War Room subscription and heard CR pump the brakes on Newmark. 😂

Glenn, Mougey and Woody should do a darkness week retreat with Parcells. It's the only way to break this curse :)

Woody would sneak in a bag of potato chips and start eating and rattling the bag right when the others were hitting their spiritual connection peak.

We did well for ourselves considering the outlook going into the offseason and the length of time interviewing candidates ✈️

At this point only one thing really matters. Can he hit on a franchise QB in the draft? Ben Johnson said it best in his opening presser, “modern football in the NFL is QB driven”. All 4 teams in the conference championships drafted their QBs and built around them. There’s no avoiding it or getting around it, and we haven’t done it since 2009.
It’s all well and good drafting a nice WR1 and an all pro CB and great DLineman, but ultimately Mougey’s success or failure (and Glenn’s for better or worse) will be determined by whether or not he can hit on a QB that becomes the future of this franchise and put the right staff in place to develop him. This is going to be the biggest determinant of the W/L column.
Geno was a misfit, Sam was mishandled, Zach was a complete miss and Rodgers was a Hail Mary. We can’t run from it anymore, it’s time for the New York Jets to get the most important position in the sport right in the Draft. Good luck Darren, you’re going to need it.

The best thing I've heard is that when they were deciding between Hackett and O'Connell for HD was that Moogs was pounding the table for O'Connell.

Dick Haley was one of the unsung heroes of the Jets turnaround from the late 90s.

I just hope Mougey understands the history of the playoff drought and I’m not talking about 14 years since making the playoffs, I’m talking about 23 years since the last home playoff game! I’m so jaded after all these years, it’s pretty sad.

Please don’t take this in a bad way like I’m trying to be argumentative but I see these types of comments and they make me cringe a little. What exactly would that change? If anything I would prefer the opposite. Come in like there is no “bad recent history” and just move forward. Just always been confused on this take but all the respect

Wtf are we talking about ? How can u give credit for his mid round draft picks and not mention the elephant in the room. 2022 the Broncos hired Nate Hackett, they proceeded to make the Russell Wilson trade. They decided lets rip up your contract and give you a mega extension. 2023 they trade a draft pick for a head coach. 2024 they have to eat 60 million in dead money from the Wilson trade. How do you overlook all these facts from his resume. This truly is an embarrassing review.

I have long thought that JD favored RAS scores for mid and late round draft picks over good old fashioned scouting. Seeing so many really good mid round picks become successful and the Jets getting so little out of theirs needs to stop.

I'm a Jets fan living in western Missouri. Everyone is a chiefs fan around here. I know people who claim Todd Haley being fired is one of the best decisions they've ever made. He went crazy as the HC of the Cheifs. I've heard all the horror stories I'm not a fan of us having him on the staff. Find someone else to be the senior offensive assistant please!

It will be interesting to see if they both report to Woody? Who will the OC be? Will they sign another QB as a FA to compete with Tyrod and cut ties with Rodgers? Will the Jets draft a QB?

Denver is not a good drafting team, I do not like this decision for GM! I’m also wise enough to know that it’s a new regime and I do trust Glenn. I’m going to be optimistic and pray that we are finally going to be a team to respect and fear!!!

Both Corely and Hardman were brought in to be screen/gadget players, but Hackett doesn't have that type of role in his offense and couldn't make one. The other misses you were right to blame JD for.

I hope they change their philosophy how they do contracts, I hate the void years concept that is always creating dead cap instead of just front loading contracts to get the pain over as quick as possible. I understand a lot of teams are doing that nowadays do to cap raising every year but imo its just a stupid way to create so much dead cap for future.
