hi! yes, i love my purple cardholder so much. i was debating between the black and purple for a while too!! i decided to go for the purple because my handbags are always such muted neutral colors. i figured i could use a pop of color in my purse lol. i am now on the hunt for a black one bc i love the design of this cardholder so much! i don’t think you would regret either one. i think the benefit of a black one is that it’s classic- no one would know how dated it is. but the purple is truly special💜

. Quick question, does Chanel colorful SLGS can color transform ? For example I want to get a pink card holder and put inside my lv mini pochette with red interior and my Toiletry pouch with beige interior
so far i haven’t had any issue with mine but my best friend has a sky blue one that has darkened over time but she didnt really take care of it. i think it was mostly from setting it on different surfaces outdoors like letting it roll around in her car and taking it to work out and run errands not because she had it in her bag from other slgs or her bag interior. i put it in multiple designer bags so far and those bags havent rubbed off onto my purple card wallet!

Claudine Eborda hi! thank you so much for watching and also your kind comment! it isn’t bulky when compared to a full-sized compact wallet, but compared to one of those card holders that don’t have any buckles or zippers, this one takes up more space. i tried putting it in my chanel classic medium, and it fits, but takes up more room than i’d like. i’d say this doesnt slip that easily into back pockets of jeans or anything either given that the thickness consists of 3 layers of cushioned leather... i hope that helps :)

Claudine Eborda Claudine Eborda 30 is a big one! congrats!! a woc to yourself is such a nice gift!! why not get as much as you can (if you’re able to afford it) before the increase if possible! maybe keep it somewhere but dont open it until youre really itching to buy something and then unbox it so it feels like youre spreading out your purchases?? hahaha. im not sure about the bc pills bc i am not currently on them but im sure you can cut the pack to make them fit. it seems pretty spacious in there- esp if you decide to opt for the 3 compartment coin wallet that has the same look!! im currently in korea where the price increase has already taken place... so unfortunate but i didnt want to stand in line for hours to find out what i want is already taken- so i didnt even try. the whole idea seemed a bit ridiculous to me

Never really took the plunge of splurging til the right moment which is at 30 hehe. Regarding the price increase, it is very unfortunate. I wouldn't wait in line too if that's the case. Hopefully in the future you could get one in black at an affordable price.

How did anyone get these? I called my SA and the Chanel number and they both said stores were closed and they couldn’t sell anything. When the store opened my SA said they were sold out. Whaaaaa?!?!?!
How much was this from the boutique? I can only find the smaller version (classic card holder in purple) on resale sites and it seems over priced to pay $1000+ when chanel website shows $500 for other colors with the 3-4 card slots.
hey! sorry for the late reply. i believe it was in the $500 dollar range. many chanel pieces sell in the after market for much more just because some colors are really popular therefore making them hard to get.. if it’s purple that you’re after, there’s some coming in the next season i believe.
