- In this video, I show you how I mounted my LG 27" (27UK850-W) monitor onto the wall. I explain certain things you should understand such as the VESA and the importance of selecting the correct bracket that fits onto your TV and/or Monitor.

I'm not going to give this guy a hard time for trying something new to him for the first time. I've been there. We've all been there. It's a process, by making mistakes, and learning from them.
I genuinely enjoyed the video. Great job!
Totally agree, other comments are mostly jackasses that are proud that they are no longer ignorants, so they can make fun of others who still at the beginning of their learning curve, just to make-up psychologically for themself when they were laughed at when they were in that place. it's almost a cycle of bad people

bruh
Agree 👊
yeah i learn more from seeing the mistakes
"I haven't done this before"
Yep. I figured.
😄😄😄 This was fun.
Whenever you buy something expensive, it helps to take a picture of the receipt, just in case.
If you pay by credit card and know when you bought it, you can usually still get a refund.
Me seeing this before I watch: what happens in this vid I need to know
This was so painful to watch lol, he did say he'd never done this before so he did do a good job. Hopefully he learnt a lot for next time.
Showing the problems you had actually were very beneficial to those of us that are watching this video for helpful tips. Thankyou.
Loved your video 😄Had tears in my eyes from laughing literally this emoji 😂 I wish you had more videos where you're installing something for the first time or similar to this! I rather watch you struggle and mess up than a clean 20 second time lapse of someone doing it professionally! You reminded me myself whenever I do some DYI project. Thanks for actually delivering the knowledge of what kinda mount is best to look for! Thumbs up from me man 👍
Use the Clutch on your drill, set it to somewhere around 7-13 to drive in screws like that. It will automatically cut out when they get to tight to avoid snapping the heads off. Or, just use a screw driver.
Great job for a 1st try! Currently working from home & thinking of mounting my monitors.
Took lots off notes on what NOT to do lol
I am just grateful that you uploaded this video... I was looking up for some references on how to mount a Monitor to the wall without screwing up the monitor/wall... and this video truly gave me 2nd hand experience :) thanks a ton!
"If you have any questions, let me know..."
My friend, I have a LOT of questions
👍 there should be a tag for that kind of videos
it is so usefull to see the errors in order to understand them
and it is so frustrating to watch videos of things that only go the perfect way and then get lost
thank you very much Carl
haha i literally had the same kinda day as you :). took me 6 hours to instal a curtaiun rod, and blinds. Then was going to put my new monitor on the wall mount, found your video, and now im gonna wait till tomorrow. Good job bro, loved the video!
I had a genuinely good laugh during the installation process! Bless you! :D
Nice video. I don’t know how you got the idea of using a drill to screw the monitor nuts. Good thing is that you only snapped one of 4. Looks good.
You have to use a drill to insert the plastic wall anchors ALWAYS...and then screw the screws inside of the drilled wall anchor using a screwdriver.
I'm glad I watch this before buying my VESA wall mount because the holes for the cables sit directly underneath the VESA screw holes on my monitor. This video saves me from a ton of pain,
Awesome! I love this video so much because you showed how it really works in the real world for somebody like me.
Oh dude, your fault make us learn much better than a perfect tutorial, nice job dude. Im so appreciate it :D
Dude, this screws, drill bits, dry wall inserts are out of control!! Im surprised Home Depots of the world havent solved for it. For once in a blue moon diy-ers like you and me, it takes more time to guess what to do and correct the problems than to actually do it. It never fors to plan. So happy to see a genuine video where someone is not going all macho about their diy skills. I have the same monitor in Canada, but this mount is not available here.
I lol'd so hard... omg this guy is hilarious xD Respect for still daring to upload this video ^^
So glad I saw this vid! Never thought about the VESA blocking the display ports!
You are so amazing. It’s so helping. I am on the process of purchasing a monitor and a wall mount. So, it helped me a lot! You are wise and great. Thank you.
Darn I thought this was a tech channel I was getting such great vibes. Great video bro!
Well this proves that nothing ever goes as easy as it looks. Great job sticking with it....
Thanks for confirming LG monitor inputs are in the wrong place and for showing the workaround.
So I am not the only one who makes mistakes when drilling into the wall. I have similar problems when I am trying to hang my shelves and drilling into walls. I am glad you made this video because I get to learn from your mistakes. Some times it looks so easy until you actually do it. But it looks like you are a good sport. Good luck.
Most honest video of the year 👍 even though u never use the tools 😅
As much as I learned something.. I had a good laugh watching this video 😂 Pure
Nice video dude. Really helpful since I haven't done these things yet. I learned a lot from your mistakes haha.
This is the worst DIY I've ever seen. I love it!
Hi I’m Ed from tech source cable management is horrendous
I put together a desk the other day and all I say is I feel you on the struggle.
I actually liked this video BECAUSE he showed the errors that he made that would help others not repeat the same!
Some people might laugh at it, but that's a really nice video showing problems that some people might do if they don't have technical abilities, with a drill etc.
To be honest there's even a risk of damaging the monitor, when you screw it with an automatic screwdriver.
Instead of power tools or screw drivers, I've always used ratchet and 1/4 socket with whichever screwdriver bit necessary. Always proved more efficient in my experience. Nice tutorial though 👍
This is painful to watch. I'll be mounting my 2 monitors once my monitor arms arrived and you really gave me an idea of what not to do. Lol. By the way, I see doggo, I subscribed! :)
This video is so realistic :D :D !! i like the style of your presentation , it is great that i can be more careful to avoid those mistakes when i set up my own wall mount. Thanks for the review and congratulation for finishing the installation after so many headaches.
Thank you for the Video, the "mistakes" you made really helped me to try and avoid them. the end result looks gr8!
Why does it look like you’re using a green screen
Never use power tools to screw in bolts behind a screen 😅 could’ve seriously damaged your monitor but glad it worked out 👌🏼👌🏼
It’s like looking at my future self lol but you got it done 👍
Thanks for uploading. Great for newbies to learn from.
I loved the video - I have tried this and this is a setup that i made myself and am really excited to enjoy this. Thank you so much for the design!!
Question for the creator or anyone passing by reading this comment
Are you able to wall mount a Lg 27 inch 27GN600 - B and if so which would be the perfect one for it
will to be fair. its your first time as you said. you did good.
Ok, so I slightly over exaggerated on the first products price. Still, I will sell it for higher if your interested 😉
what do you mean sell it for a higher price..?
Hi please my friend is in dubai now he s a graphic designer, a photographer and a 3D designer he's lost there with no money a long story of trust on his friends let s call it a bad luck, is there some opportunity for him to find job or some help somehow, he had an experience on working as a graphic designer.. he s Instagram is ouzystudio , wish a respond from you, thanks
@@SmallTalkbyQwertyDigital he's trying to sell a used item for a higher price
to get the broken screw out you use a ease out, basically it's used to remove broken screws/ bolts..
Seems like you are doing that for the first time... 😅 Lots of mistakes and your genuine reaction for them are very welcome. By the way while watching it, I see myself on the video. When you want to do things quick, even they are very easy tasks., some small details cuts your way and makes the process longer and longer.
Thank you so much, you help me know what to look out for❤❤
I can't believe you used the drill to mount your monitor into the wall mount lmao
"Never use a machine to pull screws into a technical device". But as mentioned before - you have to go through that process...thats learning. At least, the result is okay so good job.
Exact situation I'm in now. Thanks for the video.
Dell P2419H and gotta purchase VESA mount!!
I want to wall mount my 32inch lg monitor . Can i do the same ??
I felt pain watching this video! but i found it useful!
Bro what name of this stand its in noon ?
You have concrete walls? Is it a wearhouse or something? Where I live in the US our house walls are made of drywall it's hard to safely mount heavy stuff.
Eduardo Cortez you don’t mount in drywall. you use a stud finder and find the stud in the wall to mount it.
You mount to a stud dude, not the drywall lol.
Isn't LG ultragear 144hz 27 inch monitor has a 100x100mm mounting hole?
Thank you, your video really helped me.
thanks for showing us what not to do as well as what to do
Can you share the same for India? I don't see that product listed here.
You got a new Subscriber From Bekaar Films (PAKISTAN)
AND I THOUGHT I HAVE A HARD TIME PUTTING SHIT TOGETHER LOVE THE VIDEO MUCH RESPECT
Hey Carl.. By any chance you remember how you narrowed down to the drill positions here ? Time-lapse part is a little too fast to understand on how you finalized the location of holes
Wow, I hadn't thought about the mount obstructing the cables. Thank you, glad I watched this before buying what would have been a useless mount :-)
how is the stand that he used is called because i cannot reach the site
Absolutely fantastic and fabulous vlog. I really enjoy watching. big thumbs up!
You enjoyed watching this guy fuck up in almost every way possible?
Thank you. Great vid. So authentic. Appreciate your sharing of some of the mistakes made. I think I would have made some of them myself.
atleast u have height adjustment on the mount, i once had to do this without the mount having any height adjustments so that was hell
I’m new to this can I possibly get an answer on how to remove the back panel on the monitor to actually get the mount?
LG 31.5 inch (80 cm) LED Monitor - Full HD, IPS Panel with VGA, HDMI Port x 2, USB Port, INBUILT Speaker - 32MN58HM
this my moniter which stand me buy ....and which plase
I do want to know how much did the monitor get pushed back? did you measure the same?
I am trying to figure out if a wall mount is better or a monitor arm
I agree With 2Fanatical 100%, ,you did a great job. Thanks for the video, it was a lot of fun watching it. By the way, you got a beautiful dog. I'm a dog lover too.😊.
The monitor doesn’t comes with the screws behind the monitor?
thank for ur all pre caution info. nice work
What if the monitor doesn’t have that little box on the back?
If you bought the bracket online why do you have a receipt from a store?
@Carl Hewlett
What pc is this and would you be able to give me the link for it on Amazon Uk
A tip when drilling is taping a plastic bag under to collect everything
hahaha :) well done mate, the screen is beautfiful and you learned how to use a drill
Interesting channel. I’m from Calgary, I spy Lake Moraine lol
Couldn't you just drill a hole on the first mount, straight in front of the connectors?
Can’t you just use the first product but like use a dremel and cut out the sections for your inputs? I’m thinking of doing that. I can mount my monitor for ten bucks if I can just do that
would this mounting walkthrough also work with an LG 27" 27GL650F?
Can you share the brand and the model of the device you bought?
Hi :) very good film :) . Enjoy
Thanks 🙈
The top link in the description leads to a site that gives phishing links
Why’s everyone saying it’s painful to watch?? We’ve all been there lol just be quiet and enjoy the video 👍🏼
So helpful. Thanks.
(Intake of breath through teeth) I wouldn’t have used that black tape, cable ties would have been a lot better, (imho) because if just one cable becomes faulty? Ouch.....that’ll be SUPER fun to remove! Good job though, at least you got her up there!
How do you get the leds only back thre
So u don’t need the wooden plank?
Have you screwed new holes into the monitor ?
How do I buy the wall mount on Bluetek, can't find where to buy?
thanks for sharing your experiences even though it made you look foolish! i'm sure it's going to help those who don't have experience with power tools etc
Nice video mate!
Can I use it on my Dell P2219H ?
lmao.. that 🤦♂and sigh of defeat at the end is exactly how everyone feels after spending an hour or two installing a mount. It is one of the most exhausting and stressful tasks when it comes to computer setups.
The only thing I could think of that is worse than this is replacing/installing RGB Fans and the cable management that comes with it.
You're all over the place m8😂😂
Good video though...
Liked and subbed!!
What is the background music at minute 3:00?
😂😂 just had to end the video lol
the link does not work can u give me a new one, thanks
