  • In this video, I show you how I mounted my LG 27" (27UK850-W) monitor onto the wall. I explain certain things you should understand such as the VESA and the importance of selecting the correct bracket that fits onto your TV and/or Monitor.
    Final Bracket Used (Pice AED 50 = $13.60):
    First Bracket I tried (Actual Price AED 105 = $28.60);

    I'm not going to give this guy a hard time for trying something new to him for the first time. I've been there. We've all been there. It's a process, by making mistakes, and learning from them.
    I genuinely enjoyed the video. Great job!

      Totally agree, other comments are mostly jackasses that are proud that they are no longer ignorants, so they can make fun of others who still at the beginning of their learning curve, just to make-up psychologically for themself when they were laughed at when they were in that place. it's almost a cycle of bad people

    Loved your video 😄Had tears in my eyes from laughing literally this emoji 😂 I wish you had more videos where you're installing something for the first time or similar to this! I rather watch you struggle and mess up than a clean 20 second time lapse of someone doing it professionally! You reminded me myself whenever I do some DYI project. Thanks for actually delivering the knowledge of what kinda mount is best to look for! Thumbs up from me man 👍

    Use the Clutch on your drill, set it to somewhere around 7-13 to drive in screws like that. It will automatically cut out when they get to tight to avoid snapping the heads off. Or, just use a screw driver.

      You have to use a drill to insert the plastic wall anchors ALWAYS...and then screw the screws inside of the drilled wall anchor using a screwdriver.

    Dude, this screws, drill bits, dry wall inserts are out of control!! Im surprised Home Depots of the world havent solved for it. For once in a blue moon diy-ers like you and me, it takes more time to guess what to do and correct the problems than to actually do it. It never fors to plan. So happy to see a genuine video where someone is not going all macho about their diy skills. I have the same monitor in Canada, but this mount is not available here.

    Some people might laugh at it, but that's a really nice video showing problems that some people might do if they don't have technical abilities, with a drill etc.
    To be honest there's even a risk of damaging the monitor, when you screw it with an automatic screwdriver.

  • @evangmacdonald

    Instead of power tools or screw drivers, I've always used ratchet and 1/4 socket with whichever screwdriver bit necessary. Always proved more efficient in my experience. Nice tutorial though 👍
