I have to say, you make it look so simple. I also make armor and can say without an issues you have serious skills. You use the tools you have to work your magic! Thank you for making these videos and letting us watch your art.
This is the second channel. There will be videos without music and voice.
Well it is DIY because if you try hard enough you CAN do it, although he can with much less effort
I've recently made my own set of Greaves from fiberglass using this video as a guide, as well as your video for the knees. Just noticed the Greaves you make in this video have straps fitted at the end of the process however the ones you are wearing at the end of the video don't appear to have these straps, & there is a strap fitted to the base of the knee harness that wraps around the top of the greave. So many details to these parts you only really notice when you actually try to make them. The hinges on the greaves are also tricky, took me awhile to notice the cut outs that need to be added for them to work.
Your neigbors at 2 in the morning:
Stunning work. Outstanding. Well done. Great to watch.
잘 보고 있습니다 저도 언젠가 작업장 만들어서 한국에서 하고싶네요 감사합니다.
thank you!
The absolute hardest part of the armor to get right, good show.
Very nice workmanship 👍
So, do you get the templates for your armor online or do you make them?
fantastic video and quality of work, thank you. I liked it listening to classical music. do you listen to music while you work?
My gawd. Amazing....
Beautiful..........
I'm still confused about the process of smoothing out the hammer bumps.. does anyone has insight on this particular process ?
This is a jackhammer
The technique is known as planishing. Essentially you use a flat hammer with more numerous yet softer strikes on the piece that you are working whilst it rests on an anvil or attachment with a similar shape that you are trying to create.
@@howtomakearmor No it is not a jack hammer, it is called a planishing hammer.
@@hokepoke3540 i think he is useing a modified jack-hammer as a diy planishing hammer.
@@hokepoke3540 bro how are you going to just tell him what he is using? he made the damn thing im sure he knows what he has
so much careful work. if only people kept their dogs in order postmen would not need these trouser accessories
Они прекрасны)
Спасибо!
Nice
Is there any drawback to curving steel with a press? Many armourers use raising in order to not think out the metal, but it takes so much time. With the press it seems quicker
none whatsoever. you use the tools available to you to get the job done.
im shocked that your video doesnt have millions of view.
What is the thickness of the sheet please?
Yeah, I love watching the standard & equipment a high lvl pro uses. It does nothing at all to help me make mine though.
What is the name of this plate that does this?
What was length of time to make?
If you were to try and make your own first set of mid 14th century armor where would you start at the feet or helmet
I think I'd start with the bigger, easier pieces to work with.
ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННОЕ ИЗБИЕНИЕ МЕТАЛЛА))))!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍
How do i even start :c
I tried making my self a leg armor and it failed.
The blacksmith.
А где музыка. Подписался!
На этом канале будет без музыки и голоса. Чисто работа. А на основном буду стараться больше рассказывать
Сколько ты их делал?
Если последовательно , то наверно 4-5 дней
Спасибо.
DIY How To
Step 1: own a hydraulic press
Maybe ummm.... explain what your doing and why
Секс для глаз, но без музыкального/немузыкального оправления непривычно
Все таки мені більше подобається з твоїми поясненнями. Але лайк поставив.
Дякую! Все одно залишається відео матеріал, то думаю підгружати таке іноді
Can you make them thicker??? Those are thin. I don't wanna get hit wearing those, especially by those axes.
step 1: buy a 5k € electric press i guess
now titanium
Oh yeah diy do it yourself. All you need is a fucking hydraulic press
Amazing but jeez those reddish leather straps are horrible.
Just go for coffee brown or black.
