- The armor in Kastenbrust style can be found on the medieval images. There is almost no armor of this style preserved to our days. Their recreation is only possible using medieval statues, bas-reliefs or images. There are a lot of them, which proves that this type of armor was widespread in Germany and Flanders in the first half of the 15th century.

Hi All, I'm reading Berserk, and a discussion leads me to Gottfried "Götz" von Berlichingen. I've two questions to ask your guys, and hopefully someone is willing to share one's knowledge. Q1. Where could I find information about his armors (1498 to 1544)? Q2. Did he wear German armors only? Q3. Did he ever wear any Kastenbrust style? Thank you so much in advance!!
That is quite a niche topic I am sorry to say. You will most probably have to do some digging around on the internet, if you can, try and find a way to translate some German sources
