The way they made really was more like the comics rather than a realistic movie. I don't get why a lot of people say it has to be real looking. It's based off comics.

I do have the feeling that Strife was sent to hunt down what remained of Humanity, since Fury calls him the one they sent on delicate matters, which would explain why he is hidden as a human and later on he discovers the shady business going around an explains why he ends up helping protect humanity... However it is certain that Strife perish while facing the hordes of the Destroyer... Since Ulthane has one of his guns and the other was with the other Makers back in their world...
Now all I want is a Darksiders 4 with Strife, which ends with him crossing paths with Death and Fury at the end and as they are talking, the ending of Darksiders 1 kicks in, Uriel breaks the seal, and they all come to Earth for Darksiders 5.
Yeah I saw it too... SOmetoimes is so low resolution that it looks like the first Darksiders... Not to mention the dialogue moments on how images jump around before a character speaks or enters the frame.

What is up when Ulthane is in a talking role? His character model seems rushed into a spot for a split second before he speaks. Wasn’t this a multi-million dollar game? How did they not fix that?
with all that happened with the original studio, this game shoudn't have exsisted. It is for the fans and that is enough for me to buy it eventhough the frame rates and lip syncing seem choppy at instances.

So what is Samael is up to? Strife dies for sure with his guns being around when War arrives. (prolly revived by the end of first game.) She looked at her arm that was bleeding and while obviously angry, was she also surprised, perhaps? That she shouldn't have been injured, at all? War's Watcher was stifling HIS powers and he had to...regain/reacquire his. And get some from Samael, as well. So, was that an actual Watcher, with Fury, at that point? And not Envy, in disguise? So, Fury WAS being weakened, as the Council wanted her to be, so she and the 7 Sins would destroy one another. It's still not clear. Also, Fury was advertised as a mage and yet possessed no abilities to that effect, on her own, whatsoever. Most of her "magic" was given to her by the Lord of Hollows. So, why was she touted as a mage, in the first place, then? Right off the bat that scene, the one-time I played it, felt odd. As if it was forcing the plot forward with revelations that shouldn't have been made by Fury, at all, that early on. But, then, right after, when the Lord of Hollows insinuates she is a pawn and being played, she refuses to even entertain the notion. The writing was strange, there.
The Envy Fury fights in the beginning is a fake. The real Envy disguises herself as the watcher and follows Fury, waiting to take all the power of the seven for herself.

If the "First" Envy was an illusion, then the Charred Council placed it there.... but why give it that talisman that can absorb untold powers? And if the "real" Envy created that illusion, why even bother with having Fury use that tailsman to deal with her brethren?

She is one of the four even without her hollow weapon, but what exactly she got without them when compared to the two? Each of the Sins are supposed to represent a defect of Fury that she has to overcome. Envy looks like Death because Fury envies him for his role as leader. She envies War and Strife too, hence Envy's greatsword and guns.

That is her literal sin and her shape at the end of the game is a personification of the power she Envy's. She first greets herself (as the watcher) saying she is Fury's biggest fan. She wasn't kidding. She Envy's the horseman so much she wants to be them. That's why her model has elements from all four of them.

Okay, so the Council send a Watcher with Fury to hunt the Seven Deadly Sins. But it turns out that the Watcher is really Envy and the Council have released the Sins knowingly and then Envy betrays Fury and goes to destroy the Council. Then Fury kills Envy and then the rest of the Council. Is it just me or does this make no actual sense. Also the writing in this game seems downright sloppy. Doesn't it also break the established timeline from Darksiders 1? In DS1, War is sent to Earth after 100 years (I think) and the Council is alive and well. But then, this game is set after the seals are broken but before War is released. And if that is the case then how can the Council send out War if they are already dead? Supposedly, the last scene implies that the ending of DS3 happens before the ending of DS1. But then, at the end of DS1 Uriel asks War how he would fight the Council, implying that they are still alive. Am I missing something or did the developers take a shit all over the story?
Fury did not kill the Council, only reveal against them and their plans. The Council is at their best wounded and angry. The end of DS3 is before the final boss of DS1, yes, and even before the first meeting between Ulthane and War, so by this time War is probably still imprisoned in some place under the Council watch (remember they can summon and dispatch beings from their chamber, so War will not always be chained before them). Also, this implies tha Death still doesn't start his own quest, because humanity is still at the verge of extinction, or at the very best hidding with Fury in that other real that they escape at the very end. So, basically, DS1 intro -> DS3 -> DS1 main story/DS2 main story. The story of Strife journey will be probably set up before the main events of DS 1 and 2, by the disposition of his firearms to War and Death in their respective games.
Death, Fury and Srtife (persume that the case) all is dead and War was kill by Uriel and was revive when Uriel broke the Seventh Seal(Horsemen Seal) that revive all 4 horsemen, and during DS1 both Angels and Demons didn't break the last seal and protectedit from been broken because they all new all 4 horsemen together they are unstoppable, and that why the council send Fury and War separately, Strife probably know the council betrayal and disguise himself, and Death to clear war name by himself, the first 6 seals broken at this point but not the last one
Sir Alonne Vincent Han, six of the seven seals were broken and reforged by the angels, the demons and hell army did not form part of the conspiracy of the angels/heaven. But yeah, Death and War were dead in the same period of time (probably), Fury is unknown, currently, by the info given in DS3, she is in an unknown real protecting the last humans, Strife probably died previously the events of DS1 and 2. When Uriel broke the seventh seal, the pact was completed and the “real” apocalypse began, summoning the four horsemen with all their powers and mighty, independent if they were dead or not. The Council have knowledge of Heavens conspiracies, and they summon War (everything a trap). The Council has his own agenda for everything that had happened so far, they took the opportunity of Heavens conspiracy and Hell internal conflicts, everything around, probably, the destiny of the mankind, the future and control of the human realm, and his latent potential rather that the equilibrium of all creation.
The 4 Horsemen eventually will deal with the council together but I'm more interested in lucifer, I knew he is sitting back watching all this happening, I wish there will be further more Darksider installment so eventually seeing Lucifer in action, that no way Lucifer should not be the main villain since he is the most well known fallen angel of all

Is it just me or is Fury really weak when compared to the rest of horseman (well War and Death as we know little about Strife).
She is one of the four even without her hollow weapon, but what exactly she got without them when compared to the two? Yes, she is good with a whip, very good but powerful enough to be One of THE Four?

Each of the Sins are supposed to represent a defect of Fury that she has to overcome. Envy looks like Death because Fury envies him for his role as leader. She envies War and Strife too, hence Envy's greatsword and guns.
Envy also had War hood over her head along with deaths mask

That is her literal sin and her shape at the end of the game is a personification of the power she Envy's. She first greets herself (as the watcher) saying she is Fury's biggest fan. She wasn't kidding. She Envy's the horseman so much she wants to be them. That's why her model has elements from all four of them.

Okay, so the Council send a Watcher with Fury to hunt the Seven Deadly Sins. But it turns out that the Watcher is really Envy and the Council have released the Sins knowingly and then Envy betrays Fury and goes to destroy the Council. Then Fury kills Envy and then the rest of the Council. Is it just me or does this make no actual sense. Also the writing in this game seems downright sloppy. Doesn't it also break the established timeline from Darksiders 1?
In DS1, War is sent to Earth after 100 years (I think) and the Council is alive and well. But then, this game is set after the seals are broken but before War is released. And if that is the case then how can the Council send out War if they are already dead? Supposedly, the last scene implies that the ending of DS3 happens before the ending of DS1. But then, at the end of DS1 Uriel asks War how he would fight the Council, implying that they are still alive. Am I missing something or did the developers take a shit all over the story?
Fury did not kill the Council, only reveal against them and their plans. The Council is at their best wounded and angry. The end of DS3 is before the final boss of DS1, yes, and even before the first meeting between Ulthane and War, so by this time War is probably still imprisoned in some place under the Council watch (remember they can summon and dispatch beings from their chamber, so War will not always be chained before them). Also, this implies tha Death still doesn't start his own quest, because humanity is still at the verge of extinction, or at the very best hidding with Fury in that other real that they escape at the very end.
So, basically, DS1 intro -> DS3 -> DS1 main story/DS2 main story.
The story of Strife journey will be probably set up before the main events of DS 1 and 2, by the disposition of his firearms to War and Death in their respective games.

Death, Fury and Srtife (persume that the case) all is dead and War was kill by Uriel and was revive when Uriel broke the Seventh Seal(Horsemen Seal) that revive all 4 horsemen, and during DS1 both Angels and Demons didn't break the last seal and protectedit from been broken because they all new all 4 horsemen together they are unstoppable, and that why the council send Fury and War separately, Strife probably know the council betrayal and disguise himself, and Death to clear war name by himself, the first 6 seals broken at this point but not the last one
Sir Alonne Vincent Han, six of the seven seals were broken and reforged by the angels, the demons and hell army did not form part of the conspiracy of the angels/heaven. But yeah, Death and War were dead in the same period of time (probably), Fury is unknown, currently, by the info given in DS3, she is in an unknown real protecting the last humans, Strife probably died previously the events of DS1 and 2. When Uriel broke the seventh seal, the pact was completed and the “real” apocalypse began, summoning the four horsemen with all their powers and mighty, independent if they were dead or not.
The Council have knowledge of Heavens conspiracies, and they summon War (everything a trap). The Council has his own agenda for everything that had happened so far, they took the opportunity of Heavens conspiracy and Hell internal conflicts, everything around, probably, the destiny of the mankind, the future and control of the human realm, and his latent potential rather that the equilibrium of all creation.
The 4 Horsemen eventually will deal with the council together but I'm more interested in lucifer, I knew he is sitting back watching all this happening, I wish there will be further more Darksider installment so eventually seeing Lucifer in action, that no way Lucifer should not be the main villain since he is the most well known fallen angel of all

It's strange but no one can kill death, if his soul is wonder around or next story of the Darksiders is to bring back to live ones more and all 4 horsemen are ride together to the final battle, well who knows let hope for a better story next time on Darksiders 4.
