  • SORRY FOR THE AUDIO QUALITY. next time i'll record 50 m from the mic minimum.
    Hi, here is a very quick tutorial on how we can create a simple growing vegetation effect on specific part of an object.
    you can do the same in 2.8 but since this version is not officially released at the time of this recording, i don't fully use it.
    I hope it will help you with your VFX projects and if you have any questions, please leave it in a comment and i will do my best to answer it.
    I'm selling 3d model scan based and retopologized professionally for a really good Price/quality ratio :

    Hello Albin, I tried to follow your tutorial in my personal work and I noticied some issues during particles rendering if I use Boo Tool add-on. Dyanamic Paint doesn't work togheter Booleans. Can you give some advice about it?

    When I try to add dp weight in the vertex groups the hair particle is disappearing and I couldn't find a way for that. Can anyone help me with this?

    • @Enolavisten
      @Enolavisten 3 роки тому +1

      Hey I was having the same issue. It doesn't display correctly in the weightpaint mode in the latest version (2.90.1), but it does show in the renderview. So if you open up Eevee, it should show up correctly.

      I have the same issue. The hair system works in viewport but doesn't show up in the render. let me know if anyone has found the solution.

    The grass doesn't stay there after the object moves away from the surface. its grown as long as the icosphere contains the suface area. please tell me how to solve this issue

    Does the vegetations follow the hair curves? Like bending?

    • @albin3010
      @albin3010  5 років тому +1

      Hi, not with this tool. But if you use particle instance modifier with « along hair » enabled or something like that ( sorry don’t remember the name) it will bend :)
