Some tv’s were not meant to sit facing down because the screen tends to warp outward. That is why some tv’s when you buy them new in the box they have a cardboard sitting flush up against the front of the screen. It’s there to prevent warping in case you lay it down. Learned about this on a $800 el cheapo samsung when I put it facedown in a uhaul when I moved. Warped screen that never went away. Just thought people should know before attempting this gimmick.

Luckily for us, we get very little rain, and rarely strong enough to get the ceiling wet. But we do recommend and sell weather covers for under $75. Also if you are in a different climate we do have TVs that are completely sealed from the elements! Thanks for the great question!!!!
We later had our electrician come and install an electrical outlet on the ceiling. As for the HDMI, they were only streaming content using the smart TV functions and had nothing to connect.
I'm not sure of the brand, it was supplied by the customer. It was adjustable for like 3-18 inches from the ceiling. We like the Vivo brand of motorized mounts.

At the time of filming, we did not have an outlet yet, but our electrician did install one the next day. It usually costs around $250 for the outlet.
