How to Solo Run Ulduar for Mimiron's Head Mount🚁WoW New Player Guide Walkthrough + Demon Hunter Skip

- In this guide, I’ll show you how to solo run Ulduar to farm the iconic Mimiron’s Head mount🚁, which is a mechanical marvel crafted by Mimiron himself. While this mount originates from Mimiron's ingenious creations, it actually drops from the final boss, Yogg-Saron, in Ulduar.
I’ll walk you through the entire raid and, as a bonus, show you how to use a Demon Hunter to skip certain bosses entirely (DH skip at end of video)

Ulduar is the first raid that introduced the heroic version. There was no select option, it would take a certain trigger, different for each boss.
Mimi stats heroic mode by pushing the red button on the wall behind him before the fight.
Yogg heroic, which is the only version that drops the head mount is triggered automatically if you don’t ask any titans for help when they are out in the gathering area after you free them from their mind control (defeat them).
If you talk to them and accept help, it will disable the ability for the mount to drop.
The Flame Leviathan is hard mode if you don’t take down the various towers around the arena. The more towers you take down, the less health and the less loot you get. Haha. Just adding to what you already had.

Just a tip, you dont need kill Ignis and Razorscale they are optional bosses, after you kill the first boss you can run straight to XT-002 and enter the Ulduar Chamber

@@LadySurvivalWoWYou also don't need to kill the side bosses when you enter the building. You can just go to the one that becomes the bridge. You do however have to kill the cat lady or the door that leads to the final boss will not unlock.
Thanks for your old content farming videos. I generally just run in on a whim all willy nilly when I see a raid entrance. The only thing I ever target farmed was the slime bag pet and barons mount, got both.

You should mount the motorcycle for the first boss. It's faster because it has a speed boost, the horn will kill any enemy in front of you, you cannot get accidentally dismounted, and you can easily dismount once you get to the end dismount.
As for relevance of the tanks, you still need to use them during timewalking. You want Invincible, don't you?
I'm pretty sure for the last fight, you kill stuff near Sera and the explosion damges her. In Yogg's main room there are some things to click on to regain sanity.

My death night is a blood elf, so it would look the same, I don’t know if my powder which is human would look as cool.
This mount is tied to earning the achievement “And I’ll form the Head!” Which is earned by defeating Yogg’saron on 25man without any Keeper assisting you.
Ulduar was the last raid before Blizz introduced heroic with ICC. To give raiding guilds a challenge mode of sorts Blizz introduced elective mechanics designed to make certain boss encounters more difficult.
You noticed the second blue chest at Hodir, if you defeat Hodir without having to kill any of the frozen NPCs, you’re rewarded with being able to loot the blue chest. Behind Mimiron, you’ll see that big red button. If you press it before the start of the encounter it starts the event, but at an accelerated pace. Defeating Mim this way also awards a second chest. After defeating each Keeper, they’ll stand out in the big circle room. DO NOT TALK TO THEM!! They have a dialogue box where you ask for their help. This will bork your run as you will no longer be elligible for the chiev and thus Mim’s head.
After conservatory of Life, you can skip the tram by taking the portal pad straight to the Spark of Imagination. I’ve been doing this run for a few years and only just recently learned it was tied to the hard mode chiev, so I borked many runs unknowingly and I just want to save at least one person the same fate.

@@LadySurvivalWoW Still a ridiculously low drop chance, but yes. It keeps you eligible to get it after killing Yogg. Ran it tonight on one of my newly migrated Time Runners and still no dice. Ugh Of all the mounts I’ve farmed, it’s the only one that hasn’t just been “kill a dude and hope you loot it.”

That head is the bane of my existence. I've been running Ulduar since Cata trying to get that thing. I have all the transmog and even the legendary, but still no disembodied robot head. But the attempts continue thanks to all my engineers that can just teleport there.
Keep doing the timewalking version when BC timewalking is up. The odds are much higher to get it from the quest chest.

@@LadySurvivalWoW I made a guild just so I could have a guild bank for all my alts.
For ulduar you can do raid share skip.
1.Kill all bosses up to yogg
2.Make grp and invite your alt
3.Log on alt and wait till you get leader
4.Kick your main and kill yogg
5.Repeat
i've heard this method/trick so many times but for some reason i've never gotten around to trying it! will have to some day soon thanks :D

I randomly got Mimiron’s Head a few months ago while i was farming the priest conquerer’s set and i played the metal gear solid alert sound when it dropped but thankfully i need it
Just a quick one. You can take steady shot off your bar. It's an obsolete ability for BM hunter. There's no instance where you should ever use it anyway, so you're simply just adding bloat to your bar. Even MM would rarely ever use it. It's the same with bursting shot unless that's something you like for PvP which is used by some BM hunters as an extra cc ability if you need it. Some classes have baseline abilities that you'd never use anymore. These spells are there for flavour.
i just have it cuz i like it :P its cool to have a shot that i can cast and move while casting it if i want, so pretty much i like it for aesthetics. i dont care about being good in any way shape or form but it feels like a vibe to draw my bow string back
and same with bursting shot, just like it cuz i think its fun to knock enemies back
@@LadySurvivalWoW thats fair enough. If you like it, you like it. BM hunters abilities are all instant cast anyway. Cobra shot used to be a cast able shot while moving years ago. It was awesome when we got cobra for that. Then they just decided to make it instant. I used to run this raid when it was current. It was super hard. There's an achievement mount here too. It's not difficult now but you used to need at least 2 people to do it, even after it was soloable. Not sure if you still do. Ulduar used to have what we would call hard mode too. This is gone now ofc. I remember getting the staff on my mage from the blacksmith boss and everyone in guild was super jealous lul. Yogg saron was such an incredibly hard fight, even on 10 man. People would always get caught in sanity stuns and you'd just wipe. Repairs were so expensive.
Yikes, another mount I don't have!!! I'd have to check but I think I'm around 670-680 mounts! My guild gets a kick out of me and my farming! :P

Sorry for extra posts, but Razorscale is a she. Also if you decide to kill her, although you don't have to for the regular mount run, you should wait until all turrets are fixed before activating them all in a quick succession.

You used to be able to run raids on 10 and 25 man on the same lockout for 2 chances of it.
i always thought that was the case too, maybe it still is? it seemed weird to me the adventure guide just showed normal
@@LadySurvivalWoW possibly. I could have sworn they made both lockouts share a while ago. I remember doing onyxia ages ago on 25 and then wasn't able to do 10 as well.
You cannot choose 10 or 25 for this one anymore. You can only run it once per week per character. Unless BC timewalking is up, then you can do it twice on each alt.

Easiest way is BC timewalking.
I used to fly to ulduar until the second time that I missed the time lost proto. Now I just fly up there the manually to never get either mount haha.

Back when I was motivated, before my main account got banned LOL, I got some pretty nice transmogs from Ulduar and you can also get two different proto drakes by doing chieves.
