Hi Lynn, I am so sorry your mum is having such a rough time after her surgery. I do hope she will get better soon! As usual, I have enjoyed seeing your progress on your projects, and your haul this time! That‘s what can really be called „stash enhancement“ - an expression I learned from you 😊 Your walks looked lovely, too. Take care of yourself…
Beautiful dragon progress! Your crocheted gnome is super cute. Haul was fun to see as I haven't seen those charts before. Great book reviews. I hope your Mom's health improves quickly. Hospital stays are not fun. Happy stitching. ❤
Thank you for the catch up. Lovely WIPs and haul! Sorry your Mum is not well - thoughts and prayers are with her. Loved hearing about the books and I enjoyed seeing your walk footage. There is some beau country side in uk. Take care and happy stitching.
Thank you Lynn for the stitching - your dragon is stunning - and the photos from your walks. Love the photos of the white mushroom they look almost translucent. Do hope your Mum makes some good progress. Take care of yourself x
The Last of the Summer Wine was still being filmed in 2010! My dad watches it all day too! Xx I love the Rivers of London series! My friend suggested it to me in the summer, I've read the first 3 so far and still enjoying them! Hoping for a speedy recovery for your mum 🙏❤️🙏
Fingers crossed that things improve for your mum and she’s home soon. I read the Ben Aaronovitch books and also really enjoyed the first half dozen or so. Enjoy ! ❤
I've read the Dresden files so thanks for the recommendation of Ben Aaronovitch. I also enjoyed the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs and Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris. Both werewolves, vampires, fae set in a real world setting like the Dresden files.
Hi Lynn I am always amazed in your stitching and knitting and I absolutely love the gnomes you knit and the dragon is looking stunning along with your WIP's. I have be doing 3 months to a finish (this one is done with Dena Half cross stitch that she started). The idea is in the months of October, November, and December you pick 6 projects that you like to see finished in this 3 month period to see what you have accomplished. I really like it and it helps me to finish goals in the process. Try it or watch Dena Half cross stitch. I love the books you are reading and I am a avid reader and always love to read mysteries, crime, a little romance. I will go to the library and check some of these books you have read and enjoyed. I am sorry you Mum is not doing well and I will say a prayer for her and your family. I know it is not easy for you between work and hospital and in between your cross stitching and crafts but you are always in my prayers. I love the pictures on your hikes and the walks you do. The scenery always takes my breath away. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Hello Lynn, so sorry to hear your Mom isn't doing well; I will keep her in my prayers. Your dragon is beautiful and formidable...glad you have been able to work on it. I also love your Bellflower Gnome. Wishing you better times ahead.
I met the cast of Summer Wine as a kid and somewhere there’s a pic of it but I can lay my hands on their autographs 😂. Great to see your dragon is back, he’s looking wonderful. Sorry to hear about your Mum and wish her all the best for a good recovery. Happy stitching x
Love seeing your dragon progress, and the nails are so apt. The gnome is fantastic. I have also read The Fourth Wing and about to pick up the sequel as it is now out in paperback. I created an alphabet list of all the dragons, the people, etc. just so I could check who was who when I was reading the book. I have done this with multi character stories before and it works for me. Please keep up the good work with the crafting and the videos. 😊
Thank you Lynn for another great video. Always love to see your progress on your stitching.I hope your mum gets better soon and they find a solution so that she can eat. Having lived in Manchester for over 28 years I loved Last of The Summer Wine. I visited the village many times when I was still living over there. I know what you mean about not going in holiday periods, too crowded. I have never heard of Dorothy Whipple I will have to check her out in the local library over here in NZ.
Loved seeing the Dragon, some progress is better than none. I am glad you liked Fourth Wing. You should like Iron Flame. I am looking forward to the third book, Onyx Storm, being released in January. Lovely walks.💜💜💜
Lovely stitching Lynn. Sorry to hear about your Mum. I hope she’s home soon. She must be so fed up. Hope your grandson’s surgery went well. Happy stitching 😊
Hi Lynn - I’m sorry to hear of your mom’s troubles after surgery. I hope by now she’s doing much better or soon will be. Lovely to see the progress on your dragon and all your WIPS. I enjoyed the Tolkien books so it was interesting to hear about the trail and see the pictures. You’re right that they could really make the trail interactive if they included some signage about the various scenes. Have a blessed couple of weeks.
Hello from Vancouver Island Canada. I absolutely love all your videos. They have such great variety. I love all the pics of your walks. My fathers family was from Devon and i would love to visit the uk i know the chances are slim as i will be 70. So it is so nice to see your pics. I also love murder mysteries. I have never read books with fairies but would love to know a good one. Thanks again and good thoughts for your family. Hurry back. Patti
Love seeing your dragon come out. Of course I've had to buy it! Unfortunately I didn't just buy the dragon but added in pegasus (which I've started) and the kelpie as well! Heard yesterday that the lady who owns Unconventional Xstitch had a devastating house fire and has lost everything. Best wishes to your mum and yourself.
I am so so thrilled that I have been chosen to have a voucher. I can't say how happy I am. Sorry I haven't been in touch before now. Iv just come back from several days away. What a truly lovely surprise. Thank you so much 😊❤
So glad you have these walks to go on. They must be a good change from the current stresses going on, you certainly get to see some lovely countryside. Your photos often remind me of scenes I see on Escape to the Country shows. Take care of yourself. Happy stitching.
Oh Lynn, I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom, doesn’t seem like she needs anything more after having such a surgery. Hopefully they can figure out a way to give her nourishment without making her sick. Take care.
Sorry to hear about your mother. Hope she will be home soon. Lovely video as always. The vampire thriller you talked about (can't remember the authors name right now) is unfortunately not translated into Dutch. And as I want reading to be relaxing, I read books in Dutch. Happy stitching! Groetjes, Evelien
Lovely to see the dragon is back! So sorry to hear of your mother’s trials. Blessings to her and to you as well. I enjoyed hearing about your experiences with reading. Would like to hear a sentence or so about what the story is about. I loved Fourth Wing! Your photos from the walks are so beautiful. I wish I was there myself. Love the nails! Take care of yourself Lynn. 🌹
Hi Lynn really interesting and varied floss tube. Glad you got a button for the witch chart. I have mine up on the wall currently. Sorry to hear your mum is having a rough time. I bet she's looking forward to being in her own home and have a normal meal. Great photos from your walk. Are you going to knit and stitch at Harrogate? I'm there with Dena on the Thursday. Sending a hug and lots of love Karen xx
Good to see Dragon is still around but I fear the realistic raspberries are in a bag at the bottom of a pile :( Sorry to hear your Mums having a rough time, hopefully the antibiotics will do the job and she'll be eating soon. Best wishes for her 💐💖
I want to give you a suggestion. Please don't be offended. Call The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and ask if 2 elders can come and give your mother a blessing so she can get well. It always works if you have faith, and I don't like you to worry. This is a gift that is free and with love. Take care, and thank you for sharing so much with me.❤❤❤
