Gold fiah r adorable as well. U can try paradise fish in outdoor patio pond as well they r pretty used to major temperature swing 🤟👍🏻

It was not entirely possible to set up a tank suitable for the needs of macropods. The bare water surface and the rather sterile subsoil leave something to be desired.

4+ years in captivity if proper care is given. Surprisingly in the wild, they live less. Just like various tetras in Amazon.

How can you tell which sex of paradise fish you have if you only have one of them? I have one but don't know what sex it is!

Male will be more cylinder , colorful , vibrant .Also male will have elongated caudal & drosal fins. Hope this helps.
