I conqured the WURL last year. My major suggestion would be to take the little chute down the Broads twins. It's class 2. The crux you went down is class 4. You can actually see it at the 1:38 mark in your video.

Does it get more loose? The class 4 is nice because all the rocks are solid

@@Summit_Seeker It's not that loose. I agree the class 4 way is nice and if I'm just doing the triple traverse or even the Cottonwood ridge, I would rather go that way, but when you are doing the whole WURL I would rather go the easier way and faster way.
I see you have done the ART before. Are you going for the triple crown? I'm going for the PURL this year and the ART next year, I think.

I admire your confidence, have done much of this route. However, a helmet could mean the difference between life and death should rocks fall from above, especially on the twins.

@@myyearroundgreenhouse you are on a ridge for nearly this entire route. Rockfall is near non existent when on a ridge

How bad was the climb up around 3:30? I've seen a lot of videos of the 'crux' a little bit later on (which looks more like a traverse) but this bit around 3:30 looks spicy. Is it as bad as it looks? Awesome job btw!

It is actually pretty chill if you just stay on the ridge. I’ve seen other videos of it when people cut right and it makes that section soooo much gnarlier

@@Summit_Seeker It's closed from sunrise to sunset, just hit the summit of Superior around 8pm and you'll be fine. Not a bad time to get there anyway.
When I did the WURL we hit Cardiff Pass at 8:10 elapsed. I'd say you guys were on a good pace. Taking it a little slower on that first section will pay dividends when you get to the Alpine Ridge section. You'll crush it.
