Nice vid. Where can I find that pump? I have a 254(2005) and a backhoe with quick connections but no pump.
My 3 pt hitch will not go up or down. The front bucket is working so i think the pump is working. Unless there are two hydrolic pumps? Checked fluid level, checked filter, not sure where to go from here.
How about some videos that show some of the options you offer? Such as the rear remote hydraulics, and the diverter valve option. These are nice options that aren't normally seen on Jinmas. That 4 way bucket looks sweet as does that bucket grapple. Very cool stuff. Now if we could only get the 254 with a cab, that would be something. Our friends north of the border offer them, but I've never seen one offered by a US seller. Is it about keeping costs down, or is it a safety thing?
We are working on producing videos, when we aren't so busy, showing such options but we do have these options listed on our website at kenotractors.com if you would like to view them. The owner recently went to China to the Jinma factory and one of the topics that was discussed was the cab for the Jinma 254 and it has been deemed unfit for the US market due to tier 4 emissions requirements and the side effects that came along with them. The engineers with the factory stated to the owner that the 254 with the tier 4 Perkins Engine in them would have a reduced power to weight ratio that would effect its implement use as well as the FEL and such things as routing hydraulic lines, and the loader valve. The owner also said that he got to drive a Chinese 254 with a cab and he stated that it cramps the driver pretty extensively which would not work in the US market as we are all statistically larger. They also could not put a heater on the Perkins engines as per tier 4 requirements we are not allowed to modify the Perkins engine at all which is what the heater would have to be installed on. If the option arises and the Jinma engineers redesign the cab to work with our market that will definitely be an avenue we would be willing to traverse.
Glad to hear that the cab is at least being looked at, and that it may still be an option someday. I have seen the front and rear hydraulic options on your web site, but it would be nice to have a more detailed description, and some more photographs. A video demonstration would be really nice. I am super impressed with the level of effort you guys have put into selling, servicing and marketing these tractors. I owned a 254 back in 2005, but sold it. I'm considering buying another next year.
couple of questions. why not keep the hydraulic pump hooked up all the time an put quick connectors on the hoses?
since the hyd pump is directly connected to the transmission it will be spinning all the time. these pumps must always have a complete hyd circuit otherwise the pump will blow out the main seal because it back pressures. The quick connectors would work, in theory, if you loop a hose from the pressure to the return but even then theres not much fluid its pushing through that one line, i could see some problems happening with that in the future.
Where do I buy parts
So the seat turns around i take it?
yes there is a swivel seat base option so the seat can turn around.
