This book and this message is perfect if you want to close the lines of communication. It’s made for lazy teachers who don’t want to actually deal with their class. Unfortunately, even most adults are put into situations where they don’t feel comfortable telling what someone has done to them, expecting kindergarteners to hear this message and take anything beneficial away from it is asinine. When my sons kindergarten teacher read this to his class she then implemented a no tattling rule. My son was telling the teacher when his classmates would be scared, bitten, and called names by a specific boy. She told the class that boy cannot control himself so ignore it, and when my son stood up to it, he got his good behavior rewards taken away and learned to hate school. Not only is this book poorly written, it is made for lazy teachers. He loves school now. I told him to always stand up for who you are, and stand up for those being bullied. You will be rewarded at home. He is now top 1% in the nation in his grade level (5th) , and confident in who he is. And guess what? She didn’t succeed in shutting down those lines of communication, because I taught him to stand up for what he knows is right.
Video critic she's just sharing that! Don't troll her! I teach kindergarten and they are wonderful! They probably weren't crap! (I don't dig swearing on the internet)
I don't mean to cause offence but the children were very bored listening to your recording .. Perhaps some more animation and expression in your voice would make it more interesting !
Excellent idea to record and video. Perfect for tech centers!
I wish people at my job read this book
Oh god.
This was perfect for my Kindergarten class.
