Google Meet currently does not allow the ability to create a dedicated personal link, so here is an easy way to make that happen.
I also include how to connect this to your own domain for a professional experience.

I think Google may have gotten wind of this work around because the drop down options on the Google Meet tab are no longer there.
Which dropdown are you referring to? On the Calendar invite?
Trying to do this for a class and am stuck at cloud fare. I got the domain from elsewhere and now I can’t figure out how to use it following your video. Help!
You will need to point the domain to cloudflare first via nameservers
Could I skip the A and CNAME records and just create a subdomain that forwards to the meeting link URL? I'm not sure I followed the logic of using Cloudflare...
Yes, you can. I use Cloudflare for all of my DNS management, but you could do that directly in Godaddy for example with the same result.
