Finally, someone to actually post a video for someone over 20. Being 65 with severe arthritis, I am able to perform all the tasks on videos she has posted. Thank you, for this blessing.
Before Coronovirus I worked with a Personal Trainer who introduced me to the Total Gym as part of my sessions with her. I loved it. But when the gyms closed and we became isolated I lost a lot of muscle. I just bought a Total Gym to use at home, it's not as nice as the ones at the gym but now I can use it at home and so can my 85-year-old sister! This is an EXCELLENT video, the pace was too fast. As a 70-year-old woman who has had a full spinal fusion, I can't transition from one position to another as quickly as others. This week my personal trainer is going to train me at her home and she has a Total Gym too! So when I'm home I can use this video for myself and my sister to get stronger as we age. PLEASE, KEEP MAKING VIDEOS LIKE THIS!
ATTN: Women, and Total Gym management! I, as a mature woman, mother and grandmother, would personally appreciate MANY MORE of these Total Gym UA-cam VIDEOS and even a purchasable set of aging gracefully, female DVD's for 40, to 50 plus age women to help keep us, flexible, healthy and vibrant into the future. We are a HUGE segment of the fitness and flexibility market share. It is high time the fitness equipment manufactures start to cater to OUR age and gender, rather than the 20 somethings with perfect bodies and their excellent "young" metabolism. It's time to cater to the Mothers and Grandmother's of these young female models and female 20 something's and Total Gym should provide a complete fitness program or wellness regime for US too. Listen up, Chuck! 😆.....PS. please add a Thumbs Up, if YOU agree.. thanks
Hello Ana, We have produced DVDs for our older demographic of customers. They are available on our website. The Total Gym is a great tool for people with limited movement or energy, if it's used it correctly. There are many, many exercises you can do on your Total Gym because of the ability to lower the resistance to almost none. Simply lowering the resistance on a LOT of the videos we provide here, on our UA-cam channel, should make most of the routines accessible to you. I'd encourage you to try it.
not sure if anyone cares but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last few weeks =)
Just what I was looking for. I have had my total gym for 2years now and and they go so fast on the videos I just can't keep up. It discourages me but this is encouraging and would like to see more with people over 60 who are just starting. Thanks.
Hi I purcbased a total gym power tower , Im 61 and about to have a double knee replacement, after watching these vidoes I believe this gym for me will be a lifechanging choice. keep up the great vidoes
Hi. Thanks for your channel. I have the very 1st model of Total Gym. Haven’t used it in many years. I’m 69 now and in bad shape. Using a cane and have lost much muscle mass over the years. My own fault of course, but now I want to take action and get healthier. What videos do you have that are geared toward the elderly that have gotten weak? Also, it’s very hard to constantly change the bar from the top for arms to the bottom for legs. What piece of equipment could I buy that the beginning model would take, to keep a bar or platform at both ends? Money is an issue. I can’t afford to buy a newer Total Gym.
Thank you for this video....I am 69 and I love my Total Gym. I am just a beginner...but I want to be the healthiest 70 year old I can be next March, 2017.
+pjreisa5050 We are so glad to hear you say this! Keep up the good work, and if you ever need motivation, come back and visit. Don't hesitate to ask us for more workout ideas and tips... Even video suggestions! We are always looking to create new content for Total Gym users to find the lifetime value in owning a Total Gym!
I'll be 46 in May and at my current fitness level due to health issues is poor. This video is my speed for getting back to exercising, I would love to see more like this one. Thank you for posting.

2:13 It's hard on your knees to do squats that extend your knees beyond your toes. Way better off putting your heels way up high on that squat board.
This is true thw heels should be at top of stans aans toes hanging over top to preserve knee joints

Sit ups and torso twists are NOT good for a person with osteoporosis.
