    I have to say after 30 plus years as a professional painter, I still love to see the creative ways that everyone finds a way to create beautiful paint jobs. I can honestly say that your glitter glamour wall is one of the nicest I've seen to date. Also working with glitter and making it look appealing on any project has a level of difficulty that most people dont understand till they make an attempt to do it. Well done, keep up the great work!

    You are one of the best videos I've ever watched on UA-cam I have to say that I don't ever comment on videos I watch a trillion of them I'm a DIY girl on a very tiny budget and I do everything from the yard to inside the house and then outside of the house again all on my own and depend on UA-cam to get me through I missed steps or places where I get stuck and I can't tell you how many videos I've watched but you are so hilarious you cracked me up because you are just a matter of fact to the point you don't waste our time you don't explain your whole history of your family and what got you to this point and which colors you picked and blah blah blah blah blah you simply gave the instructions that we needed and I'm pretty sure this message that I'm leaving is longer than the words that you spoke LMFAO I just wanted to say thank you for being thorough to the point and not wasting my time greatly appreciated God bless xoxo Merry Christmas

    Hello. Does it work if we directly mix the clear gloss with the glitter and brush it to the wall. Or it is better to brush with just the gloss and add glitter with the sponge ? It is not the same results for the two ways of applications ?
    And should we do 2 coats or one is enough ?

      Not unless you go over the entire thing with a clear gloss top coat...I did not do a top coat because the way the glitter sits after this application, it catches the light and sparkles like crazy! If you do a top coat it's still going to be glittery BUT The top coat keeps it flat to the wall so you wont have your littl pieces that catch the light so nice

    I wanted to tell you that I tried your Technique today and Not only was it easy but it worked fantastically! I do have a question I don't know if you can answer it because you used the silver glitter and I'm using white but I'll ask it anyway and hope someone can help me. I bought white glitter in hopes of putting it on the white wall and making it look like snow when it has sunshine in it. A curious thing though it looks pink! Now if you turn at certain angles it looks white and then blue but most of the time looking straight on and from the left and right a tiny bit is pink. Anybody know what this could be from? any and all help is appreciated!

    • @tanyawales5445
      @tanyawales5445 4 роки тому +1

      What an interesting question and how perceptive of you! It just goes to show that there is a lot of science in art and art in science. :) The glitter may be diffracting the light when it hits it from different angles so that you see the pink and blue colors sort of like a prism throw a rainbow when sunlight goes through it. White light is all the colors of the rainbow combined. Light isn't additive like paint is so it can be difficult to figure out what is happening sometimes especially when you add glitter to the mix especially since there is standard shiny glitter, iridescent glitters, interference glitters and holographic glitters out there. White -> blue -> pink

    • @debbieriffel3846
      @debbieriffel3846 4 роки тому +1

      @@tanyawales5445 what an incredibly genius idea! It makes sense that the different tonalities of light would change what color is reflected! I'm not sure what all kinds of light bulbs are available to go in the lighting above my vanity I'm sure going to give it a shot! Thank you thank you thank you! You may have figured out this whole problem for me! I'll let you know if it works out! God bless you and yours stay safe!

    Hey..how many coating required?

    • @ty-tytyraW
      @ty-tytyraW  6 років тому +5

      Bharti Mishra if you do it this way its 1 coat. when you're done you can look at it from different angles and do another coat in some spots that might be a little thin...but for the most part its 1 coat. That's why I wish I would've figured this out sooner! Lol! I have another video up of a glitter top dresser I started with the sponge technique and you see how fast it is especially with the coverage you get!

    But what happens if you add the glitter into the clear gloss? Bc if I’m gonna do 4 walls this will take me ages lol

    • @ty-tytyraW
      @ty-tytyraW  5 років тому

      You can add it little by little to the clear gloss.it WILL THICKEN UP. when you brush it on you REALLY gotta work to spread it...if you use a roller itll only do one full roll motion, then itll all be off of your roller. Try a little clear gloss with some glitter added and brush it on, see if that's something your willing to deal with...if not do it this way...for me, out of all the ways I've tried this was the easiest and quickest

    When you touch the wall the glitter don’t come out ?

    • @ty-tytyraW
      @ty-tytyraW  6 років тому

      edith lozano no...if you rub it you'll get a few pieces of glitter to fall off but it's nothing that'll mess with the look of the wall....you can go over the whole thing with a clear coat top coat also

    Are you allowed to do this your bathroom because I wanted to do it’s my bathroom?
    Bought bathroom blue paint and I was thinking of just putting dry glitter inside of it mix it and paint it do you have to put the clearcoat on it?

    • @ty-tytyraW
      @ty-tytyraW  6 років тому

      michelle c if you put just regular glitter in colored paint, the paint just covers the glitter, you wont see it. If you put regular glitter in clear coat you will be able to see the glitter but it doesn't spread good and will be thinner than this. You COULD Do blue paint the mix some glitter in the clear coat and paint over it..
