We have not made it to Vermont yet but we got to get there. You keep showing us all the great reasons to make the trip. Need too find a place to squeeze it in. Love Vermont cheese and hard cider. And Ben and Jerry’s. Maple surup. Good grief! I’m going to have to get the scoop on all this before we go Patrick. You got it all down.
I live in Vermont and have always enjoyed the Cabot cheeses. Another good place to visit is A. Lincoln's home, a great house with antique furnishings. After he was assassinated his wife made frequent visits to this gorgeous home and his son too. I do not remember if he ever was there. Our beautiful Maples are moving north, the abrupt climate change is getting too warm for them to survive here, very sad. Our zone is warm enough for peach trees now and mine has produced prolifically the past 2 years. Heck we may become a peach state! LOL It is time to down size, retired teacher/admin, so I am selling my 4BR house on 10 acres and going to become a RVer for a while and maybe buy a home in NC or thereabout. Got a Hummingbird and love it, could not spend 28K on a TAB! See u on the road sometime I hope!
We've been camping in the Green Mountains of Vermont but never had any "FunFoodAdventures" - loved the Cabot cheese, the apple pressing of Cold Hollow cider mill, the cool t-shirts (let alone the ice cream) at Ben & Jerry's and who wouldn't love some REAL maple syrup at Baird Farm! May we hire you for our next camping trip as tour guide?!! (we'll even let you camp in the vicinity...LOL!!) Safe and happy travels dear friends and see you #ondowntheroad! ~💜
perfect and missing Patty and Puppies......suspect this is a continuation of the School Trip and that is the reason for the missing personages! As always a Blessing!
Paul A. Jackson Yes....this video and next Monday’s were shot in Vermont when I was on the school trip. The good news is Patty and the pups will be back on Thursday’s......wait for it......Miiiiiidweeeeek Upppppdate! LOL
We totally agree with your chooses. We have been to them all ....Not food but the Vermont country store is an awesome place to check out. And the Sherburne Museum is a fun day shelburnemuseum.org/ thanks again for another awesome video......you need to work your way over to the east and visit our beautiful state of NH LOL
They don't have camping. We stayed in the Inn. It's the 2nd year I have used them for this student trip. About 15 miles south is Gifford Woods State Park where Patty and I camped two years ago. It's a small state park set in the woods. The Appalachian Trail runs through the park.
It's funny... vt makes better cheese than wi. And u don't see vermonters using tooth picks to scrape their plaque off their teeth before using the same tooth pick to shuffle through the cheese samples.
Bernie Sanders pushed employees ownership family farm produce to restaurants and grocery stores and shops wines beers maple syrup chabot cheese ice cream and product made from local

If you don't make it this year, maybe we can do a Campout up there next summer! I am already working on a Summer of 2021 East Coast Trip!
Travels with Delaney wouldn’t that be a hoot! Great idea.
I'm a good tour guide in Vermont! LOL
OMG, I want to move to Vermont! Not only for that yummy food, but you have a jacket on! It’s already 93 degrees and stifling here in Florida!
It actually snowed last Monday night in Vermont and stuck in the higher elevations
Have been to each of those places many times! We❤️Vermont !
We love Vermont too!
Oh, a working trip😀. Nice school trip😁.
Many of those cheeses flavors you won't find in stores. What a treat! You picked good sites!
They do have some awesome flavors!

We will have to check out the Lincoln home next time we are up that way. Thanks for the tip.

Darkhaze1 Thank you! I appreciate that.
Love the tour!! I must say the cider press was so cool! A taste tour of a slice of Vermont!
CR I was so excited that they were pressing the day I was there. Last year they weren’t pressing when we were there
Thanks! We made sure all 5 stops are on our 'Must Do' list for VT. 🍁
Also add the Vermont Country Store to your list as well!
@@TravelswithDelaney Hope to go in time to catch the Vermont Quilt Festival next month also.
#6 Vermont Country Store. Great recommendations.
Vinny Mozzarella I totally agree Vinny! We stopped there the first day and I should have recorded some video

We visited quite a few other places last week that I didn't mention that are awesome as well including the Vermont Country Store! Love that place.
I'm kind of curious about Liberty Hill Farm, did you camp there with your T@B or stay at the inn. They don't mention anything about camping.
They don't have camping. We stayed in the Inn. It's the 2nd year I have used them for this student trip. About 15 miles south is Gifford Woods State Park where Patty and I camped two years ago. It's a small state park set in the woods. The Appalachian Trail runs through the park.
Do you think I should still visit Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory even though closed the tour?
I would! It's still a cool place to visit and you can visit the flavor graveyard while you are there which is fun.
You forgot als French fries
Where's Patty? You moved too fast going thru the stores. Couldn't really see much.
Patty had to stay home to go to work. I took students from my college to Vermont on a Farm to Fork Tour.

Appetizing way to start the video. Straight up his nose. 🤢
