I had the pleasure of seeing it on broadway, and by far, the most funniest show I have seen! So many references to other musicals and it was just an absolute delight!

Im super late but I don't see anyone else answering your question. The show and music were written by brothers Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick. This was their first real show. They've recently also written a musical adaptation of Mrs. Doubtfire that was in previews when COVID shut everything down. The choreo was done by Casey Nicholaw, who is one of the biggest choreographers of broadway right now.
Also just found this out the guy in blue was played by rob McClure who also played as adam in beetlejuice in the broadway production
In this it's the original cast, so it's Brian D'Arcy James - Rob didn't join the cast till later on in the run

Something Rotten is one of my absolute favorites!
I mentioned this show before! Christian Borle isn't in this particular song but the original cast show that he's in (and won a Tony for) is floating around out there somewhere and its magnificent. And as others have said, Christian is also in Falsettos and he was nominated for that and it too is magnificent :D

This is my favorite musical. It’s a shame it was included with Hamilton. At least Christian Borle won. Saw it in Cleveland, and it was STILL AMAZING! My mom and aunt loved it too! It’s so funny!

This performance had to be a nightmare for the orchestra 😂 even the normal version is scary but cutting out the transitions for time had to make it SO DIFFICULT for them
I hope you guys will watch more Something Rotten content soon ! If you want more Christian Borle I would recommend Will Power, it's a show stopping number for sure! :)
